Round 1
I unfortunately have to concede.
While serotonin and dopamine can be increased through goal-oriented behavior, which was going to be my main argument, I learned that oxytocin can easily be increased simply by cuddling with someone, hugging, or nursing your baby.
Sorry for the super short debate and wasting con's time.

Round 2
waive this round of course
I win lel
Round 3
Just wanted to say one thing that I learned about goals and happiness. It is smarter to break large goals down into smaller, even tiny ones, so you get multiple "shots" of those feel-good chemicals like serotonin and dopamine. This might be helpful for depressed people.
Thanks dude

What are you saying, getting my pet goat thumper saved my life, It's obvious a life without a goat is one not worth living.

Stop the 'lel' and attitude and it won't be rude.
How was that dude lol I always say that when someone concedes/forfeits
goals do help those without them become mass shooters or serial killers depending on local gun laws
I thought it said goats for a second there.
Interesting topic idea.
