The pro side will be arguing that "If God does not exist, then morality is speculative at best." And the con side will argue that morality can be grounded independent of the view that God exists.

There is plenty of evidence in the world and in the universe that it has a creator, and an intelligent designer. This debate is not specifically regarding the Christian God, though I am a Christian so I will be leaning towards the Christian God, but right now, the topic is about whether or not a universe creator even exists in the first place.
