Dating a TA
For Vaarka and others who were curious, no I did not. Just a couple days after writing this I found out she was apparently dating the other TA for the class (oops)

I recently ran into a girl at a party that I'd gone on a few dates with this summer and have seen her a few times since.

Anti-town encompasses scum in my opinion. I know he's anti-town, I don't know if he's scum.

Wylted is definitely right, you hammered despite not wanting to lynch Supa. Can you explain why?

@TheDredPriateRoberts
Final Tally

Lunatic (1/7) - Vaar
Supa (7/7) - Aporia, Budda, Argent, DPR, Warren, Wylted, Grey

Results

Supa was lynched! He was innocent.
The DP is over. Stop posting.

You were saying Wylted was trying to get everyone else to do his dirty work, but he was on Supa?

I can play. I know Vaarka usually had 6/3 new players/ringers so if you want to keep that ratio probably exclude me but if not I'm happy to play

Wylted: Can you direct me to an approximate area to analyze GP's behavior? I'll be skimming last DP now.

Supa:

It was scummy logic. While it may have been a shot in the foot, it doesn't mean he had to leave me there and Ap bandwagon is a scum thing plus there inactivity
It wasn't inherently scummy though. Town can mislynch town, and his thought process was town enough, in my opinion.

Even if they were honest mistakes, they came off as intentional attempts at subverting and scheming, which is a distinctly scum behavior.

This doesn't feel like someone learning the ropes quickly. Again I have minor concerns here.

I read through the entirety of DP1 before it's conclusion, and I honestly have not observed this scum trend that you are pushing onto GP. Quite a few of us, including two deceased town players, had a solid town read on him, one I still maintain.
Not a fan of the soft defense of GP either.

DPR:

Wylted is subtle in leading people to conclusions and decisions he would like them to make.......the first vote makes me think this.  Someone who was going to wait to the last minute to cast a vote to make sure the lynching happened, but then not doing so when not needed.  We should re-examine that.
I'm very confused here, because in the end the lynch did indeed happen. What's your issue with it?

I meant the supa and dead players comments. Honestly I was hoping (however unlikely) to die in the night and not have to catch up on what I'd missed. I have no opinion on GP save what I said DP1

I don't have definitive reasons for you being scum; you just seem too much like you're trying to avoid pushing anyone's buttons.

It's pointless to make the decision that you must be town because I scumread Supa without any flips to analyze.

As to Wyl, its been explained that he was scum in a beginners game (though he didnt participate) so he would know that group PM's are set up off site beforehand. He reads Parrot as town based off his response to the question but I'm not so quick to make that determination.

Is yer vote on Supa?

So the question was a reaction test? Interesting. I don't find it affiliation indicative from him to do something like that then. That quells my Wylted suspicion for now. He's just a touch above null, but below a townlean. Suuuuper light townlean for him for now.

Warren from yer perspective what should the town do for the rest of the Dp?
I'd most like to lynch Supa, I think. I'm interested in the reason Wylted was aware of the fact that this site doesn't allow group PMs, but he's not my biggest concern at the moment. I'm mildly concerned about pretty much everyone at the moment except Grey. I feel like he's likely town. Why did you ask me specifically?

We vote to kill someone, and based on their alignment and other players' interactions with them (as well as information some players may gain in the night) we repeat day 2.

I feel guilty for putting warren in their because he is a cut above them in terms of reading comprehension. Playing ability is a different story.

Coming from you this is a compliment and I'll definitely take it.

Trying to make us think this was his first game. thinking the wagons were all intended to be lynches and the phony enthusiasm of the first post. Seen scum play up their noobishness plenty of times, but they are usually noobs when they do so.
My intentions were not to deceive people like you, Vaarka, Lunatic (who's TUF, right?), etc. I wanted to see how someone who might actually perceive me as a new player would react. I didn't get anything I really liked, but Budda's reaction was decent, as I would expect someone that scum to hedge more.

It is an easily contrived question, but I like greyparrot's response. I'll move him to the town pile for the moment

Agreed. Grey's reaction is good. Wylted's question on the other hand I actually find mildly concerning. How did you know that there aren't group PMs on this site? I didn't until now.

Argent outting character without any sort of prompt to do so is either townie or mafia have fake claims and their partner said they should do this.

If Argent ever flips scum at least on of their partners is an experienced player.

Catching up. Argent is either a very quick learner or lying about their level of experience. I'll see if my opinion develops one way or another.

Vaarka’s reaction was mildly concerning because of the fact he only called out the fake enthusiasm part, when he should know that the entire thing was fabricated.

Buddha I’ve said a few times that I thought the way you reacted to it was pretty town because if you were mafia you’d be less willing to give out such a quick town read. You’d want to keep as many musky chess as possible on the board.

The problem I have is that I don’t understand why you think I’m town for pulling the gambit, especially now that I’ve shown I’ve done something similar as mafia.

MU games are crazy active, this one had 18 players and over 4000 posts, so I included an ISO of only my posts to make it a bit easier, but even that's gonna probably be a few hundred.

I have a bad feeling about Aporia that is mostly gut. I feel as though he's being super agreeable and polite, which I don't specifically recall him being previously (though it's possible) and it could be he's avoiding conflict.

To counter that he pretty much called me a bad player and got into that argument with Budda so maybe it's paranoia.

What if I expected to get some easy townreads out of it? I feel like there's little to no risk involved, and therefore don't quite understand the willingness to call me town. I don't think it's alignment indicative personally.

Side note: is there any way for me to turn off getting alerts each time I'm mentioned in a particular thread?
