Here's my argument from my perspective, which is that of a townie, as to why I don't, at this point, think Speed is scum:

-Speed has claimed Stan. That's a strong ass claim.

-Speed didn't hammer me when he had the chance. Considering this wagon REEKS of mafia, I consider that a strong towntell.

And statistics on how often lynching inactives benefits Town compared to Mafia? 

If I had rocked in and there were no unanswered questions, no one was suspicious enough of anyone else to warrant making a wagon and it was possibly LYLO, I can see lynching someone simply because they're inactive but in spite of all the other threads left to be pulled at, you want to hammer me? I wrongfully assumed there would be some kind of role who would claim with info so I held back my confirmation. Doesn't matter, I'd have pushed to lynch Speed in the 2nd DP anyway.

I was strongly considering having myself confirmed and leading a wagon against Speed during DP2. Glad I didn't. I wasn't sure how to use my role effectively, I was waiting for some other townie to be confirmed or another role to come forward so we could band together but it never happened.
