Most people dont know how badly the pedophiles are treated in prison
-->
@Shila
The jail sentencing is up to 10 years for a pedophile for every child abused. That is enough time in prison to get treated for his perversion.
That’s *if* they get treated.

Dont get me wrong, I am not complaining
This entire post is you complaining. Most people just serve their sentence and move on, but you’re just boring us all with your woes at not being liked by other inmates.

since it helps my case
Ok, you’re definitely deluded.

lol, you’re deluded if you think that openly saying you’re a pedophile is going to invite positive responses.

But if you meant the torture and death they at times receive from other prisoners being justified, I'd disagree.
I wouldn’t torture or murder any myself if I was in prison, but I can understand why other people would. I certainly do think that general mistreatment and social exclusion is justified.

I would say that if there is a pedophile who is going to be let free and is likely to commit harmful acts on children again, it would probably be better for someone like that to not exist.

Them getting murdered by other inmates would be less problematic to me than the possibility of another child being subject to harm because they can’t control themselves.

I guess you didn’t notice, but I wasn’t attempting to explain “why”. I have no interest in explaining these widely accepted truths to someone who, if really a pedophile acting on their impulses, won’t assign any value to them. If you want to be a selfish narcissist and subject innocent children to your horrible perversions and cause them demonstrable harm, that’s your choice - be aware that this means you’ll be arrested and sent to prison again though.

Sometimes, we can all do things that cause people harm...and there is no point in denying that we do. You can be a totally evil person and still admit that your actions cause harm, lol.

It’s whether you’re willing to consider that harm as being more significant than your own gratification. If you aren’t, this means you think your needs and wants are more important than other people’s. You aren’t special, so why should you get to do what you want?

That’s always the most fundamental problem with people like you.

I mean really, here you are whining like an entitled ego-tripper because you can’t accept that most people are going to hate you when you abuse children.

Pathetic.

But they do have other rights.
Yeah, they have the right to be kept free from harm and receive protections that most adults generally don’t get. For example, an adult can make choices that children can’t (e.g they can use drugs, get drunk, etc.) but if a child is exposed to or engaged in those things, the state is obligated to intervene in some way.

If you go to work and don’t do your job, you’ll just get fired. But, if you’re a child and you go to school and act out, appear to be neglected, or do harmful things...your parents are going to be asked questions.

With regard to pedophilia, it’s obvious that it is not only sick and abnormal, but is incredibly harmful to children as well. Most children understand that it’s harmful, and so are rarely ever willing participants. They can’t give consent anyway, but if they could they truly wouldn’t want to.

I would argue that the treatment of pedophiles in prison is more than justified, as being convicted of a crime in relation to pedophilia means they have acted on their impulses and caused harm to a child. Even pedophiles who only look at inappropriate images of children are causing harm because someone had to put that child in a position where they could take (illegal) photos of them, and that child can’t give their consent to being photographed or having their images shared.

So, they deserve what they get.

Note: for anyone who doesn’t understand why people hate pedophiles, it’s because of the immense harm they cause to children, who are extremely vulnerable and not willing participants who are capable of giving consent. Other disorders are also harmful, and they cause a lot of other people to end up in prison too; however, they are considered somewhat less harmful when they only result in the mistreatment of adults, who are considered to be much less vulnerable than children and equal to other adults.

It’s that simple.

That’s a lie. When you have the President of the United States engaging in racist speech on national television it will cause other racists to turn to violence.
That’s why you’re the retard.
Trump wasn't engaging in *any* speech as president after January 2021, yet "hate crimes" were still being committed on Asians.

This issue also wasn't exclusive to the U.S because countries like the U.K had similar crimes reported as well.

Did Trump's use of the word "China" in reference to covid, a disease from China, cause those too? Most people in the U.K don't even like Trump, but Asian people still got attacked...how do you explain this mystery? Do you think Trump's racist hatred for China reaches that far that he's able to magic British citizens into being mean to Asians because of him saying "China virus"? Do you think hearing those words put together just sends everyone into a racist frenzy?

I think you'd have to be kind of naive or very easily influenced to get your mind changed in a debate on the internet. That's *if* you genuinely believe what you're arguing for, anyway.

I used to think I was pro-abortion, but I didn't really understand the reasons why...it just seemed like the "right" and "logical" way to be. Then I became pregnant, and then pregnant again...and now I have two young children. I'm ardently anti-abortion now.

I also used to support a certain country, whereas now I don't care as much.

Although we can gain insight and new ideas from people we debate, change is always down to us. You have to be ready and you have to come to your own *personal* realizations, which are caused by experiences you go through and your own learning.

How much long term damage do you think the lockdown policies will have on children?
-->
@Shila
lol are you even real?

You claim that Asian countries followed by example, but what Asian countries? India is in Asia, yet they have the second highest infection and mortality rates (after the U.S).

South Korea is ranked at #6. Even the U.K has less deaths from covid. Vietnam is #13, Taiwan is #22, North Korea is #28, and Hong Kong is #51.

@TheMorningsStar
Of course we went overboard with lockdowns, but the damage mostly relates to the economy. People can always move on and get over things. There is lasting damage to global economies and people's finances after the massive disruption lockdowns caused to our supply chains, though.

P.S anyone who thinks that kids don't directly interact with each other much, doesn't know much about children because they *still* do. All of my cousins were meeting with their friends before, during and after the lockdowns. From what I remember, it was only from March to June in 2020 that people were reluctant to go out...most of my family members, friends and peers were desperate to resume some normality after those initial three months.

Also, to some extent parents have to take responsibility. I.e just because the government says your kids can't go out, it doesn't mean that you can't keep them busy in other ways.

Yes it did. But normal leaders know not to use racist language because it could incite hatred and violence against that group. In this case not only did we see in increase of hate crimes against Chinese Americans, but against all Asian American groups. Nice job Trump!
Any anti-Asian sentiment was precisely because the virus did come from China, not because of what Trump said. Attacks were continuing way into 2021, retard.

@IwantRooseveltagain
Then why didn’t they support Mitt Romney or John McCain with equal enthusiasm? Because those two weren’t racists?
Neither Romney nor McCain ever became president, so could never make the claim that they lost an election unfairly after leading the country for a full term. I believe that it was partly because Trump had led the U.S that some of his supporters were unable to accept the outcome (they'd gotten used to Trump, saw that he could win before, hated Biden, etc.)

I would say that Trump is able to galvanize support in a way that other political candidates can't, whether they be Democrat or Republican. It's simply a talent that Trump has, and it really has little to do with him possibly being a white supremacist or having mass appeal to white supremacist voters. Another aspect to this is that we live in more divisive times now, and some groups of people are generally more impassioned about politics.

You clearly just want to say that he's a racist though. Honestly, you may as well just respond to me next with "Trump is racist, racist bad...me hate Trump" because that's the only place your brain is capable of going to on this matter.

Would it? Trump refuses to condemn these people. He knows they support him because they like his racist rhetoric and actions. (China virus, Muslim ban)

By not speaking out against neo-nazis and white supremacy he is endorsing their ideas.

*sigh*

Did the virus not come from China then?

Also, "Muslim" isn't a race.

@IwantRooseveltagain
So, why do white supremacist think Trump is significantly better?

Anyone who isn't a Democrat is preferable to them.

Is it because they think Trump is a racist like them and Biden is not like them?
Uh, no.

White supremacists generally have more conservative politics, and so they are far more inclined to see a Republican leader as "significantly better" than a Democrat leader. It just so happens that in this instance, that Republican leader and some of his supporters thought the election was a fraud. So, some of his supporters took to protesting and things got out of hand.

That's really all there is to it.

@IwantRooseveltagain
So, do you expect them to support Biden and be happy that he was president?

Because there was a narrative centered around Trump losing the election unfairly, it was inevitable that some of his supporters were going to protest about it.

You just have to consider that these people aren't going to support a Democrat, and will instead try to fight for the leader who they think is significantly better. This doesn't mean that Trump is a white supremacist as well, but that people who are white supremacists are highly unlikely to support the likes of Biden, and are perhaps more willing to fight for a cause than some other groups of people. White supremacy is already one characteristic that makes them different from the norm, and anger is one trait strongly associated with them (and all racists for that matter), so is it really that surprising that one of them wanted to go out and protest because he felt angry and didn't want to accept that after Trump, Biden was what he was getting?

People on the Left refuse to see it, but instances like this have got more to do with what people don't want, rather than what they do want.

We know that Trump works alongside Jews so you really can't consider him to be anything close to a white supremacist. It would be insane to suggest he supports neo-Nazism.

Regarding other races, all we have to go by is the fact Trump has said he doesn't want illegal immigrants to flood the country. Some Hispanics support him, as do a reasonable number of Black people.

Let's not forget that in May 2020, Joe Biden said that if you don't vote for him in the election, "you ain't black"...isn't that kind of racist?
