@Best.Korea
Good point. But the government doesn’t get richer if it just prints a bunch of money out of thin air. America runs on a fiat currency. So if we just print a bunch more money, all that happens is inflation goes up and the government is harmed.

But then the government gets impoverished by spending all its money on welfare handouts for literally every single citizen, silly.
You guys really can’t understand economics lol

But then they don’t make any money. If AI does their jobs for them, they don’t make money and can’t be a functioning member of society. So therefore, the economy collapses. Economics 101.

The problem is that millions of American workers would lose their jobs and the economy would collapse.

If you think about it, everyone at some point makes that mistake of a “Roman salute.” I’ve found videos of literally every well-known politician so far (Musk, Trump, Harris, Biden, Obama, Bush the Younger, etc) make that mistake. Musk just made it in the wrong place at the wrong time and he’s being completely victimized for it. Then again, Wylted, you could totally be right that he’s trying to make people think he did the Sieg Heil, because he’s done similar things before (ex: intentionally screwing up the Cybertruck unveiling to get more publicity).

I think the declassification, regardless of political opinions, is a good thing, because even if a lot of conspiracy theories are disproven, we’ll at least get confirmation. It’s like the body of America’s lost soldier returning home. Then again, if they don’t fully declassify it or lie (I doubt), there will always be another administration at some point that will fully declassify.

The workers had all signed a sworn affidavit that they would not strike against the government. Reagan even agreed to a $40 million increase for the air traffic workers “in recognition of the difficulties inherent in the work these people perform,” an increase which, calculated proportionally, was twice the average income for most federal workers. The union agreed with Reagan, and then later demanded a whopping $681 million increase, 17 times what was originally negotiated. So naturally, Reagan said “no” and then they went on strike. The strike caused more harm than Reagan’s actions, because his threats to fire strikers if they didn’t return to work within 48 hours paid off (for the most part) in restoring airport flow. The workers who were fired would have still left work anyways, because there was no way that the federal government would support a $681 million increase with taxpayer dollars.

I think now is a good time to buy Bitcoin, considering that Trump is about to become president. That and shares from American oil (like Kinder Morgan), private prison companies (like CoreCivic), and financial institutions (like JPMorgan). Elections are always the best times to invest.

Well, we'll see how my debate about FDR goes with you.

This is very entertaining. It needs its own debate.
