I am a Christian. I believe the Bible is the authoritative word of God. I believe there is one true God, and he eternally exists as three separate persons. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I believe there is not one good person on this earth, and we all deserve the wrath and eternal punishment of God, but God being rich in mercy and loves us sent his Son Jesus to die for us in our place. If we genuinely repent and put our faith in Jesus alone to save us, God will give us the gift of eternal life. We can't earn salvation by works, God gives it as a gift. The reason we do good works is because we love God, and we are grateful for what he has done for us.
