Why shouldn't birthright citizenship be outright abolished? (Many countries base the citizenship of children on the citizenship of the parents.)
This is because of the fact that the citizenship process in the US right now is terrible. Those applying for citizenship from Green Cards often have to wait years for their application to go through. This is unfair for children whose parents immigrated legally (have a PR status, visa, or Green Card) but aren't yet citizens.

What is your genuine opinion and outlook on the Bsh1 scandal that led to his stepping down?
My genuine opinion? Well...
My belief is that Bsh1, while by no means right about what he did, was unfairly treated.
What he did was wrong, and although I myself wasn't personally affected by what he said, I can see how what he said could impact someone else in my position. However, even after admitting what he did was wrong, he was still attacked by many people, who went so far as to call him a pedophile and child molester. This is my genuine opinion on the Bsh1 incident.

I don't really know who would share my beliefs the best on a personal level, but for something like the BIG issues on DDO, I guess someone like Virtuoso would share my beliefs the most. Virt is very moderate, and doesn't let his religion cloud his arguments. He has argued for both sides, which is something that resonates with me strongly.
