Lazarous

I am an unapologetic apologist. Axioms:
• We are finite creatures only capable of finite answers
• We may not agree, but I respect a well informed position
• Philosophy should be used sparingly, and only when facts are in short supply
• Facts don’t care about your feelings/opinions
• Scientists study more and more about less and less until they know everything about nothing
• When considering the most important questions in life, everyone has a responsibility to examine the evidence for themselves
• Everyone has a bias so the least we can do is try to be fair

Stance on primary issues:
• The earth is young
• The Bible should be interpreted literally
• Science supports the Biblical word view
• Evolution is a world view not science
• Salvation is by faith not works
• There is absolute truth
• We have a free will (no predestination under the most popular modern definition)
• Human life is precious
• Humanity’s heart is inherently evil
• The meaninglessness of life without God
• Marriage should be between one man and one woman

Stance on secondary issues:
• There is no conclusive evidence of consistent long term global warming
• Vaccinations are overused in today’s 1st world society
