Are you actually a furry?

Yes. I haven't been subtle about it.

Okay what topic would you like to debate so I can prove to you I am superior?

It's not about superiority. Based on what I've seen of you so far, I'm not interested in debating you.

Why do you think friend requests on this site actually make you real life friends with people who will help you move with their pick up truck or bail you out of jail?

I don't. Friend requests on this site for me comes down to respect. I don't have to agree with you, so long as you're an intelligent, good faith arguer. You simply haven't demonstrated those standards to me.

WTF?

I haven't been given any reason to consider you my friend.

Have you ever crafted a material object, (Arts and Crafts kind of question) If so, have you any thoughts on said action/object/s?

Not outside of mandated school projects. I am more of a photography/written word kinda guy, though I also enjoy singing recreationally. I've been looking at DALL-E 2 and GPT-3 recently, both of which I was able to join the Beta programs for.

In schools required reading, have there been any books or stories, that stand out in your memory, if so, why?

Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys, King Lear, Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel
The first is about Siberian work camps during WWII and was appropriately traumatic.
King Lear was actually very good, We watched the Anthony Hopkins movie version as well, which was fun.
Station Eleven was about a pandemic that wiped out 99% of the population, which was interesting because we started reading it in March 2020 and it had been on the schedule since the August before.

On balance, has capitalism been a successful economic doctrine?

I would say that it has served the human population very well. After all, it's basically the reason we managed to get beyond a few mud-brick towns in Mesopotamia (and other small civilizations). The global market of course complicates things. Capitalism wasn't developed with the future in mind, it just kept working longer than anything else. It may be that it needs to be revised or abandoned, but from a pure standpoint of economic success, it has accomplished more than any other system on Earth. I'm not sure how to address the "doctrine" bit, as it was not initially espoused as some cohesive idea that would do the most net good, economically or otherwise. To call it a doctrine would be like comparing the reproductive strategies of different animals. They didn't plan it out, it's just what works.

why'd u pick ur profile pic?

The current one was more on a whim than anything. I haven't been very active in a little, so it hasn't changed.

Malfoy or Voldemort? Who do you trust in an emergency?

I would say Malfoy. If I'm even considering either as an option, then Malfoy must have some reason to be associating with me. I'm likely a Death Eater, in which case Voldemort would do little to personally help me. He MIGHT make another Death Eater do something, but overall, Malfoy.
