I appreciate the time you took writing that, though I chose to still have faith in rightly interpreted scripture and biblical truths. Thank you for your replies this evening! 

I believe the world would be unjust if you or I were to execute our sense of justice because we are flawed. At times I have been unjust, at times I'm sure you have been unjust. I have wronged other people. The Christian God I believe in has no flaw in Him, hates wrong, and hates evil, but He loves me, and He loves you. An attribute of God, however, is His justness. He can't shake His attributes. So, to fix the wrong I committed, God the Father, sent down God the Son (Jesus) to take the punishment I deserve. The evil I have done, am doing, and will do on earth has been punished. The wrong that isn't atoned for by Jesus' blood, will be punished when the wrongdoer perishes and must spend eternity separated from God and His holiness. In His mercy, He has offered us an escape from ourselves and sin. I look forward to and hope in the day I see my Savior face-to-face. "For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by His blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness because, in His divine forbearance, he has passed over former sins. It was to show His righteousness at the present time, so that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus." Romans 3:22-26

Is there a specific reason you believe them to be legends instead of truths?

I see. So, that leads us back to your initial post. Whoever is running the universe is not just. Is the justice you could achieve a universal standard of justice, or your personal standard?

I do. I was just curious since you brought up that text. Do you believe the Bible?

Do you believe that Jesus really spoke those words?

God-like powers are needed to achieve justice?

I agree that if someone pokes out my eye, I should not poke out theirs. That does seem a little grotesque to me haha. So, let's assume justice does exist. How can it be achieved? 

Will Trump rule over all the people of the world in his lifetime? 

Does justice look like karma? An eye for eye? 

Does satan desire justice, prosperity, and peace for all? 

Why do you believe there is a need for justice?
