This debate was a long one, it took a while to get through it. I commend both sides for putting a strong front. There were many times where I changed my position and agreed with the other side. I can very well see other voters siding with Barney.
It may not have been explicit, but it was definitely foreshadowed, giving hints and indications. The reason the Trinity is not clearly established in the Old Testament lies in the fact that Israel was surrounded by nations who were all polytheistic - they believed in many gods. It was important for Israel to realize that the God of the Bible is the only God who existed.
Hello! Thank you for participating in this debate. I was looking over some of your previous debates and noticed you have claimed to be a Christian. As a Christian myself, I just wanted to make sure you realized you were arguing against the Trinity in the Old Testament.
I fully accept your apology and totally forgive you. I find it commendable that you were willing to be humble and apologize for the forfeit. Out of everybody that I know, very few would be as humble as yourself and choose to apologize. I do not feel disrespected in any way. I chose to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that there was either something going on in your life that prevented you from participating in the debate, or some other reason. Regardless, I hold no ill-intent towards you. Rather, I respect you for choosing to behave in a righteous and dignified way, and in a way deserving of praise. Thank you for your honesty.
