About me
Hello everyone,
I am the Deputy Vote Moderator on Debate.org and am currently enjoying my pursuit of a career in law as a second year law student. On DDO I currently hold a debate record of 102 wins - 1 loss, and am also a member of the DDO Hall of Fame. For more information on my history with DDO please see: http://ddo.wikia.com/wiki/Blade-of-Truth
I enjoy lifting weights, spending time with loved ones, debating anything and everything, writing poetry, hiking in the woods, and taking naps after class. Most of my time these days is dedicated to my pursuit of a career in law. I'm a 2L (2nd year law student), and currently serve as an advocate on the Moot Court Honors Board and Mock Trial Team. It was my time and experiences on DDO that gave me the final push to pursue law-school and it was one of the best choices I've ever made.
In regard to my religious beliefs: I have a wide array of beliefs stemming from multiple religions and certain principles I try to live by on a daily basis. My undergraduate studies in Philosophy were also influential in my outlook on life and I continue to enjoy reading philosophical works - Stoicism is one school of thought I've recently returned to in terms of my latest reading.
I strive for balance in my life priorities, aiming to strike a middle ground between my quest for a successful and fulfilling career while also maintaining a healthy family life. Self-development is essential to living a good life as well.

"It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer." - Albert Einstein
"I respect faith, but doubt is what gets you an education." - Wilson Mizner

I sincerely look forward to the growth and development of this debate site and cannot wait to see what fruits this budding community yields.
