Problem of evil is not a problem for Christian God, because Christian God owns us

You can do whatever you want with your property.

Christian God owns humans, so everything he does to humans is good and not evil.

Humans are God's property, so no matter how much God tortures humans, it is not evil because they are his property.

Kinda like today, when children are property of parents.

Only in case of God, God owns everything so he is allowed to do anything he wants to his property.

1. Asserted without evidence. Dismissed without evidence.

2. 'Owning humans' would be inconsistent with a god defined to be omnibenevolent and omniscient. 

3. Ownership does not make everything done to property "good".

It is rare that I agree with you, Harikrish, and guess what? I don't here as well.

It is true that God created all things and as such has a proprietary interest and ownership of all things. 

Yet there is a vast difference between the property laws of humanity and the fact that God is the creator of all things. The two are just not comparable.

God's goodness is not determined because he is the creator. It is determined by his holiness. He does good because he is holy. Not because he owns stuff.

God determines what good and evil is. He is the subjective determiner of such things in the universe and as such becomes our objective measure of good and bad. 

He is the reason we acknowledge murder and rape is evil. Without God's subjective measures, humanity would have only subjective measures. And ironically as humanity moves away from this truth, we are becoming more individualistic and more relative in our moral norms. 

Children are not the property of their parents. Sadly, this was considered true in some past cultures. Not all. But some. 

In our world today, ownership of property is not absolute. We have a bundle of property rights. But this doesn't mean we can do whatever we want to with what we own. Interestingly, slavery is predicated on the idea that humans are property. Hence, most states in the world have legislated to say - humans are not property.  In other words, the States own people. Humans are public property - not private property. 

So the primary reason you are incorrect is that ownership is not the basis of goodness. Ownership certainly provides rights and proprietary interests but it doesn't determine good and evil.

MISS TRADESECRET'S CONTRADICTING QUOTE RELATIVE TO JESUS AS GOD:  "He is the reason we acknowledge murder and rape is evil."

Huh?  But, guess what? Jesus' inspired words as God ordered many of His Hebrew creation to be murdered, and He ordered the raping of woman as well! Therefore, why did Miss Tradesecret erroneously use the concept that Jesus is the reason we acknowledge murder and rape as evil?  

JESUS' INSPIRED WORDS (1 THESSALONIANS 2:13) SAYS TO MURDER AND HAVE WOMAN RAPED:

"If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known,  gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other),  do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people. (Deuteronomy 13:6-9)

"Whoever is captured will be thrust through; all who are caught will fall by the sword. Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives raped." (Isaiah 13:15-16)

What a pity that GODDO isn't also omni-sensible.

Would make things a whole lot clearer and more straightforward.

Rather than create something, and then sometime later get some Middle Easterners to write a book.

And then impregnate a virgin and later on have it's son nailed to a post for everyone's sins.

And in between times, flood the Earth and other shit like that.


A giant TV screen and sound system orbiting the Earth might get the message across a tad clearer.

Rather than apple and serpent riddles.

Well Brother D, the only thing that shocks me about anything that spews from any one of the Reverend Tradsecrets multiple mouths is that anything he says doesn't shocks me at all.

Is the  Reverend Tradesecret really trying to convince us that the Israelites didn't know that Murder and Rape were evil before Moses supposedly came into their lives and told them it was evil!?

 Were not gods own son's condemned for raping daughters of men?

 Did not god order the death of every living thing saying: " do not leave alive anything that breathes"?

Does not god say to his people : 'if you notice among the captives a beautiful woman and are attracted to her, you may take her as your wife'.

Does not the BIBLE have god saying:  'I make peace and create evil'? 

Do not the Jews themselves ask the rhetorical question: ' shall there be evil in a city and the lord hath not done it'?

Brother D, by now, every member that has posted on this religion forum knows full well and has come to know that the Reverend Tradsesecret is full of shite and his true colours.

As we all know by now, I am not harassing Miss Tradesecret all the time, but only in having to correct her outright Bible STUPIDITY, as Jesus told me to do in many prayers with Him!  Within this Forum alone, its like a full time job because every time she spews forth her assumed knowledge of the Bible, she is WRONG where the membership have to correct Miss Tradesecret at her embarrassing expense!

What is truly sad is the FACT that Miss Tradesecret's congregation at church is being lead astray to Jesus' true words with her preaching, and they are paying for this by placing money in the collection plate that is passed around, which is BLASPHEME as Jesus watches (Hebrews 4:1)!
