praying for prices to drop back down to the levels they were under Biden.
What'shisname left office last month with inflation still at a rate that for commodity average, is still over 20%. higher than when What'shisname took office in 2021, when inflation rate was 1.4%.
Yeah, that's how the economy works, inflation results from a strong economy, it was low when Biden took office because Trump brought us the greatest economic collapse since the great depression. Trump is one of only two Presidents in history to have fewer people working when he left office than when he went in, 2.7 million fewer people had jobs, 3 million fewer had health insurance. Fewer people working means less demand for products, so low inflation, and a trade war does not bring prices down.
You missed my point, yes, inflation is bad, and Trump said he would bring it down, his reckless trade war will cause inflation to explode, and increase unemployment, again.
Yeah, but there's the trade deficit, yeah, and the trade deficit went up 36% in Trump's first term.
OK, but there's all that illegal immigration: In Trump's first term, illegal immigration went up 14%, Trump deported fewer illegal immigrants than Obama or Biden, Obama deported more than any other president. Obama placed a particular focus on “threats to national security, border security and public safety” by targeting convicted criminals, in 2015, 91 percent of people removed by deportation orders had criminal convictions. Trump overturned this criminal prioritization measure as soon as he entered office, just 41 percent of deportations by removal order were directed at convicted criminals in 2019.
But what about the budget deficit: The national debt held by the public went up, from $14.4 trillion to $21.6 trillion, in his first term, Trump gave us $6.6 trillion in deficits, a 33% increase.
Face it, you guys don't have facts, and you don't get results, all you have rhetoric and demagoguery, all you really get is entertainment politics from your reality TV president, hope you enjoy the show as the real-world crumbles.
