Printing money is the problem.
Wrong, the government, specifically the Treasury Department, doesn’t print money unless it sells US Government bonds first.

I'm probably a bad example for this discussion as I never had a credit card, and the only Debt I have ever had was a car payment one time over my life
That’s because you lived with your mother until she passed away. Obviously that’s not what we want adults to do in this country. If every adult male lived with his mother until he was 50, then lived in her house when she died, our economy and very way of life would collapse. No families, no children, no economy. We can’t be a nation of weirdos.

The reason why I chose to not become a debt slave for some bank is because I saw how unhappy people were around me
Plus there’s the whole never got married, had children or even your own apartment aspect of the story.

I never was fully convinced that I needed to keep up with the Jones. Much to corporate America's dismay.
Again, you are not normal. You are a man-child.

Also "you can't find a country without murder" is a poor argument for legalizing murder.
Ya, taxes and murder, same difference. Idiot.

you can’t find a country without taxes ergo we should also have taxes. You can’t find such a place because every country needs revenue to pay for government services.

you can’t find a country without murder ergo we should legalize murder. You can’t find such a place because there are bad people in every country.

No logic there whatsoever Liberty

[IwantRooseveltagain] Wrong, the government, specifically the Treasury Department, doesn’t print money unless it sells US Government bonds first.
X is the problem.

WRONG, the government doesn't do X unless Y.

...Like I said, printing money is the problem.

USA, before income taxes.
What a moron. How do you propose we pay for WWII?
Considering that WW2 ended in 1945 I suggest that not one cent of income tax since has paid for WW2, since sending wealth back in time is not possible.

I know my failure to believe in time travel is moronic, but I just can't shake the notion.

Also "you can't find a country without murder" is a poor argument for legalizing murder.

There are bad people in every country, and every country does some bad things. One of the bad things every country does is systematic theft.

Note that the reasons you gave were potentially relevant, the fact that no perfect country can be found is not. Hence my appeal to absurdity is cemented.

No logic there whatsoever Liberty
I'm not convinced that you would have the intelligence to realize a constitution is a good idea before the first constitution was written.

We should aim for perfection. If you want an example that is more ethical and rational (in terms of economics) than the US at this particular moment that's easy.

Chile, El Salvador, Israel, India, (incredibly) CCP.

None of those  countries have an unstable economic future with over 130 percent debt to GDP ratio (a ratio that is steadily increasing (with no plans to slow it down)

Why do you think the US Government is coming down so hard on crypto as an alternate currency? If people stop buying into the Ponzi, you know what happens.

During the eight years of the Eisenhower presidency, from 1953 to 1961, the top marginal rate was 91 percent. (It was 92 percent the year he came into office.)
This is how we paid for WW2.

it took 20 years to pay off that debt. And we have had several wars since then. We have 11 aircraft carriers. How do you propose we pay for all this without taxes, without income taxes?

Bullshit. Before income taxes we had other kinds of taxes. That’s why we had all those customs houses around the country.

My god.  You think people have a better life in those countries compared to the US based on their economic model???
You like to move the goalposts. There is more to living life than economics. You can be rich and yet have the government drag you away because you're a sexual deviant. That's not good.

I'll tell you one thing, productive efficiency will inevitably eclipse the US in those countries. Certainly it's already happened in China.

You may have noticed they actually make things, refine steel, build factories.

This 'law' of economics is not complicated, governments waste money (anyone who can steal rather than produce does); the more money going to be wasted the less useful things are done. Their quality of life is going up and ours is going down and at some point they will cross and you will still be so deep in the well of Keynesian fallacy that you don't even know why it happened.

Then you should move there.
And let the parasites have the entire western world? How about he moves to a free American state, they peaceful divorce; and you can run socialism experiment #251 with volunteers instead of slaves.

China  and India will surpass us based on simple demographics.  Once they get a strong middle class there is no way we can compete

But what's clear is there is no successful country anywhere on earth begat cone close to a libertarian model.  Certainly not in a democracy

The only way you could get what you want is thru a dictatorship

There will be no peaceful divorce either.

It will be "mostly peaceful" depending on what media outlet you listen to.

When the Democrats split away again because they don't like the president and think Democracy is dead, lets hope the Republicans don't try to change their minds this time.
