DDO IS DEAD!!!

Yeah, he was the only recently active member I looked at that wasn't banned. And I guess you're the second.

RM got banned from DA this morning. He used to be perma-banned from DDO.

In IT terms, this is actually a good development.

Never the less this is very strange. For him to be one of the only active members now on it now.  after all of what happen.  Doesn't add up to me.. It just looked like something is fishing is going on.

It's a good practice to hash the passwords so anyone who gains access to your credentials here or on DDO, most likely they will just see a long random string instead of the password which they will not be able to use to log in so don't worry about it :) But DDO doesn't use encryption on the HTTP protocol layer so it's possible that somebody (on a public wifi, for example) can steal your identity but that's another story.

Just checked. They are working on it. 21st and Studio-B accounts are still working, I'm sure others are too. The site is accessible but if your account has been closed, you can't log in. It was nice to see that all the troll accounts had been closed, even though I know that was just part of a general clean up, not specifically directed at them.

We will either have to register again, or our accounts will start working again. If we have to register again, that means our records are lost. Bummer.

Well, hopefully, our Records in'st lost... But we can't control that can we...  As long as they get it working, I guess that be good enough.

If the records are lost, what advantage will they have over Dart?

They will still have the trolls, the incompetent lazy mod, and the disinterested owners.

No, you are right. If they deleted our records it would suck. And the problems will still exist for the most part. 

As for me, i guess it just depends. But there is a reason why i sign up here. So, i probably won't go far.   

I think you guys are worried for no reason. Most likely they are just trying to block the accounts of the spammers and you got blocked as a collateral damage because of some crappy algorithm or whatever it may be. I think they will figure everything out, they just need time.

Except nothing is under control. The spam is coming just as quick as before they banned every normal user.

Watch and see. Closing accounts is a good sign.

The owner of this site is not responsible for accounts on DDO closing. In fact, the problem is most likely attributed to Juggle. 

I am very pleased to announce that two of my accounts are still open, though.

Zeichen, RMTheSupreme, Jhhillman, and Geographia are still posting to the site right now.

You neglected to mention that Draka, wonderful_dreams, and theTrilogy are still posting. 

These are all very good friends of mine.

Like i said it the End of the road. That site is dead now. It will never again be the same.. It like losing someone close...

You sound sad. Before the site went down, I browsed a bit. They have updated the profile pages and dashboard. The home page has been jazzed up too.
