In case you didn't know, privately owned websites are dictatorships. The owner ultimately decides everything. The elections are just dog and pony show popularity contests. They can make suggestions but have no real power. I voted , but will who I voted for change my experience on this site no.

indeed. this website wasnt much to start with, too much freedom given to a select few who established the rules and power structure.
agreements between mods and developer over certain areas being "their turf"
but the most damning of all is the unwillingness to listen. That, is what is going to shutdown this site in a few years.
Yeah, we need more consistency.
I think if we can be more consistent then next year we can get a good president.
If the site survives that long, anyways.
