Yes, the last election was entirely about RM’s opposition to Free Speech. He changed his tune this time cause he was forced to drop out last time, but he has a history of blocking for people he disagrees with, advocating bans for people who upset him.

If you mean my platform last year, it was this. I also dropped out.
Frankly, it is just that the threshold for the level of trolling I find acceptable is bigger/higher slightly now and I realised a lot misinterpreted my platform before anyway. When I said we need to be a website to show others and be proud of, I didn't mean you couldn't have some random troll on it advocating some nonsense, I wish you knew what the religion forums were like back then, it was horrible, worse than it is now. I wish you saw some of the debates, they were dying, we were on life support.
By sheer snowballing of the website itself, we gained traction somehow. So, I realised that means the current freedom of speech is totally fine. My true objective has always to keep DART successful or at least the idea of a 1v1 debate website, which is the real thing I love.

A short excerpt by Lunatic (who voted RM because he felt bad about supporting Max so hard):

He seriously does not have the temperament to be President. To him everything is bullying and harassment. Things which people can get banned for on this site. To think he has any interest in free speech is laughable.
He literally told me in PMs that he thinks Lunatic should’ve been banned for a one off attack on me, which I frankly ignored. Even I didn’t want him banned because I knew it was just a one time emotional outburst. Under RM, Lunstic would’ve been banned. Even in a game, he rage quit because he didn’t get his way, and then proceeded to blame everyone else except himself. (I can provide threads for both instances)
Not only that, RM is a serial reporter of posts. He will literally report anything remotely offensive even if it’s clearly a joke. He has an ego problem. Literally.

I would have loved to have been here years back. There is so much "ancient" history embedded in the site, even tracing back to DDO which I have no experience with. I do not know if it is because I am fairly young, but being present on this website is extremely entertaining and educating. This site is so much more than a simple debate website. There are battles and wars, heroes and villians, funny anecdotes and serious discussions. WE HAD A PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE! The inclusiveness (for me at least) is a bit intoxicating. I get to share in momentous events, some even unfolding as I type this, that just a few hundred out of billions will ever know about.
That being said, I do want DART to grow exponentially. I have recommended people use this as a platform for their interest in debates, and I will help in other ways as well.
Very, very thankful to be around such intelligent people... though they do not always appear so ;)
