The average price of gas is back to where it was before Russia invaded Ukraine. It is putting real money back in Americans’ wallets.

Well if Joe made it go up, I guess he made it go down too. He deserves all the credit for low gas prices!

Also helping keep prices low at the moment are some key U.S. oil refineries that returned to churning out gasoline after months of being out of commission for maintenance and repairs. JOE FIXED THE OIL REFINERIES!

It's still about $1.20 more where I live than it was in 2019. Definitely an improvement over last year, so I'm not complaining, but prices rising around the election had almost as much an effect on prices as the war in Ukraine.

Filling up is now as cheap as it was in February, just before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine touched off a global energy crisis. AAA reported the average nationwide price of a gallon of regular Wednesday was $3.50, and gas price tracking company GasBuddy projected it could drop below $3 by Christmas. And all of that relief probably helped drive robust shopping over Thanksgiving weekend.

That’s right. The international effort led by Biden is defeating Russia, helping Ukraine and putting oil on the global market at a reasonable price that doesn’t finance Russia’s war.

OR

The President can’t possibly control global oil markets and prices and it was stupid to blame Biden in the first place. But stupid never stops Republicans from expressing their views.

Venezuela is no longer a significant producer of oil and the Biden Administration took steps so that Chevron doesn’t pay royalties to Maduro.

“The US gave Chevron a licence to resume oil production through its joint ventures in Venezuela on Saturday after Maduro’s socialist government resumed political talks with the opposition in Mexico City. The Treasury department cited “concrete steps that alleviate the suffering of the Venezuelan people and support the restoration of democracy”.

But you wouldn’t know that because you watch FOX News.

“concrete steps that alleviate the suffering of the Venezuelan people and support the restoration of democracy”.

Damn, how much is this gonna cost us to purchase foreign Democracy again?

Executives at Venezuelan state firm PDVSA initially welcomed the authorization for a partial return to the United States, once the country's most important market. They are less enthusiastic after learning of license terms that will not allow Chevron to reimburse operational costs or pay taxes and royalties in Venezuela, according to the people.
Guess raping the resources of 3rd world countries with imperial authority is coming back into social fashion. Amazing what a manufactured recession can do to the morality of Americans.

I already did. The President is responsible. The reason prices are going down is because supply is increasing namely from Venezuela as I mentioned earlier and Saudi Arabia after the whole Saudis didn’t kill Kashoggi thing

If the president is responsible for the rise in gas prices - because he’s the president - then he’s also responsible for the reduction in gas prices.

You don’t get to have it both ways, blame him with no explanation necessary when prices go up but when they go down dismiss it with specifics.

The reason prices are going down is because supply is increasing
So you mean inflation would go down on goods if supply was increased? So inflation wasn’t  caused by Joe Biden,  and all the Republicans where just lying and duping their voters when they said it was Biden’s fault?

It is up to the President to respond to inflation but he didn’t cause the supply chain problem, right?

So since Trump shut down Venezuelan oil to US refineries, the high gas prices were his fault. Now I understand.

First of all, Texas is supporting Europe, not OPEC:

After Russia invaded Ukraine, and due to several other factors, “skyrocketing oil, natural gas and electricity prices” caused European countries “to swiftly diversify from Russian supplies,” the report states. They looked to America, and Texas – a natural gas powerhouse – for help.

The U.S. became the world’s largest LNG exporter in the first half of 2022, the U.S. Energy Information Agency reports, led by Texas. Texas produces roughly a quarter of America’s natural gas supply.
Source:

Second of all, Venezuela is providing more oil to the United States than previously thanks to biden simply restarting a Trump oil effort:

The US has granted Chevron limited authorization to resume pumping oil from Venezuela following the announcement Saturday that the Venezuelan government and the opposition group have reached an agreement on humanitarian relief and will continue to negotiate for a solution to the country’s chronic economic and political crisis, including a focus on the 2024 elections.
Source:

So, no matter how the fuck you slice this. We are in an oil crisis of our own making. Texas is the largest exporter of gas, and it is mostly going to Europe. And we could have been drilling in fucking Venezuela this whole time, but the Biden Administration decided not to hand out the permit. So it is, quite literally, America's own fault that we have high gas prices. Putin had nothing to do with it. He never did.

Our own government decided to put Europe ahead of the US, despite it being OUR government.

Let's fucking go Brandon!

LNG is not really a big factor for oil prices. The LNG was to replace the natural gas that Russia cut off. We have been talking about gas prices.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. It was Trump that blocked oil from Venezuela. Biden needed to use diplomacy to responsibly start the flow again. Something Trump the dummy apparently couldn’t do.

You’re an idiot. You may be the only person in the world that thinks the war in Ukraine didn’t reduce global oil supply. And oil is a global market. The supply in the US effects the supply in Europe and vice versa.

I’m not having it both ways if you actually read what I said lol.

Gas prices were going up because of a supply shortage caused by Biden’s policies against oil, less permits, etc.

Gas prices are going down because he got the supply from Saudi Arabia and Venezuela

LNG is not really a big factor for oil prices.
Yes it is... LNG is the stuff in our cars that makes the engine go boom boom. We go to gas stations and fill it up:

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is natural gas that has been cooled to a liquid state (liquefied), at about -260° Fahrenheit, for shipping and storage. The volume of natural gas in its liquid state is about 600 times smaller than its volume in its gaseous state in a natural gas pipeline. This liquefaction process, developed in the 19th century, makes it possible to transport natural gas to places natural gas pipelines do not reach and to use natural gas as a transportation fuel.
Source:

The point is that, we are literally swimming in oil, we are swimming in refineries, and we export it to Europe and we halt drilling in Venezuela during a fucking oil crisis. This is Brandon's fault 100%.

What is LNG used for?
It can be used in a variety of ways: Residential uses for natural gas include cooking, heating homes and generating electricity, while commercial uses for natural gas include heating, generating electricity, manufacturing products like fertilizers, paints and medicines, and occasionally fueling commercial vehicles.

LNG is natural gas in its liquid form. LNG is produced by purifying natural gas and super-cooling it to -260°F to turn it into a liquid. During the process known as liquefaction, natural gas is cooled below its boiling point, removing most of the extraneous compounds found in the fuel.

You’re an idiot.

That’s a lie. Trump halted taking oil from Venezuela for US refineries to put political pressure on Maduro
