Right, and you’re probably not a child molester, I mean maybe you are but maybe you’re not. It’s impossible to know.
Correct. That isn't a statement on your part that really means everything. Everybody already knew I was either a pedophile or am not

Trump is definitely the only President ever to lie more than 30,000 times during his presidency

I think that both Republicans and Democrats are entirely willing and have lied in order garner power and ameliorate their own parties influence. It’s interesting how, regardless of the party, each election is received by the winner who celebrates the democratic process, and the loser, who cries fraud.

Democrat voters are more sophisticated than Republicans
I think you are the typical Democrat TBH and when you hypocrisy is pointed out such as I pointed out with McCain, you resort to ad hominem or say retarded shit like

"Derp, why did the president that had the same conspiracy swirling around them as the losers of the election get more attention focused on them"

Gee I wonder why the president would get more scrutiny than losers who wanted to be president.  Fucking tard level logic.

Let's face it, extreme Republicanism is still all about the fear of change from a "white" dominated Christian society to a multicultural egalitarian society.
Ah. Yes. Those extreme Republicans and their freeing of the slaves and giving women the right to vote and opposition to Jim Crow laws and fighting for desegregation in schools and society at large and their Civil War with the Confederates.

I can't imagine why Democrats would despise them.

I'll never forget the day the Washington Post, in a legit article, said the GOP was becoming a Russian asset:

If that isn't "lying to win elections" then I have no idea what is.

That was an opinion article genius. You should have learned the difference between that and a news article by the time you graduated high school.

If that isn't "lying to win elections" then I have no idea what is.
Correct, you have no idea what lying to win elections is.

The Party of Lincoln has nothing in common with the Party of Trump.
Jim Crow laws were fought by Kennedy, LBJ and the Democrats outside of the south. The Democrats in the south promptly became Republicans after the Democrats passed civil rights laws.
In 1916, Woodrow Wilson states that the Democratic Party platform will support suffrage.

the LBJ and the Democrats outside of the south
Quiz: Which president said he'd have those "n*****s voting democrat for years to come?"

The Democrats in the south promptly became Republicans after the Democrats passed civil rights laws.
This is completely wrong. From the 1950s-60s Republicans never won more than 45% of the popular vote. In 1968, their best year, they only won 45% of the popular vote. The other close year was in 1955 with 44%. They fluctuated between 27-37% generally.

In 1916, Woodrow Wilson states that the Democratic Party platform will support suffrage.
While true, the man was a racist who literally segregated the federal workforce:
In 1913, Democrat Woodrow Wilson, a founder of progressivism and modern liberalism, became president of the United States.[196] [197] As president, Wilson:

  • segregated the federal workforce by creating separate restrooms, cafeterias, and work areas for black and white people.
  • appointed racists to his cabinet and authorized them to wantonly fire African-Americans and prevent them from advancing to high-level civil service positions that they held during Republican administrations.
  • told a group of black professionals who protested Wilson’s polices that “segregation is not a humiliation but a benefit, and ought to be so regarded by you gentlemen.”[198] [199] [200]
  • had a special screening at the White House of The Birth of a Nation, a film that glorified the Ku Klux Klan and was used by the Klan as a recruiting tool.[201] [202] [203]

nobody was standing up for blacks in the early 1900s

After decades of loyal support, by 1912, many African-Americans had grown disillusioned with the Republican Party and its record of failure on civil rights. This view was particularly true with regards to Taft, whose campaign barely acknowledged the black community, in part to avoid alienating southern whites, whom Taft mistakenly believed could finally be won over by a Republican candidate. At first, many prominent African-Americans including Booker T. Washington, lent their support instead to the Progressive Party candidate, Teddy Roosevelt. Roosevelt's own record towards the black community while in office was suspect, however. Roosevelt's standing with the black community, already vulnerable, was irreparably harmed after the Progressive Party endorsed segregation at their 1912 convention.[25]
Though African-Americans had increasingly been drawn into the ranks of Democratic Party supporters in regions where the party's Liberal wing was very strong, Wilson's candidacy was initially broadly dismissed out of hand. However, during the 1912 campaign, Wilson, to the surprise of many, appeared highly responsive to the concerns of the black community. In his correspondences with representatives of the black community, Wilson promised to answer their grievances if elected and made a point of promising to be "the President of all Americans." Wilson never expressly renounced his prior views on segregation and race relations, but many took his words and actions – such as receiving black leaders at his home on multiple occasions – as showing that he was a changed man.

What’s that got to do with the south changing to the Republican Party in the 1970s?

After the Civil Rights laws of 1964 and 65, Majority support for the Democratic Party amongst Southern whites first fell away at the presidential level, and several decades later at the state and local levels.

What do you believe are some of the lies which helped Trump win the presidency?
Obama wasn’t born in America.

Hillary mishandled classified material in her emails

The unemployment rate is really 25%

Most Mexicans bring drugs, crime and are rapists.

Obama founded ISIS

Terrorists are crossing the southern border into the country to attack us

The only way he could possibly loss the 2016 election is if it’s rigged.

Democrats were loading up buses to drive voters from Massachusetts across the border into swing state New Hampshire.

In December 2015, Politifact named "the many campaign misstatements of Donald Trump" as its "2015 Lie of the Year", noting at the time that 76 percent of Trump statements rated by the factchecking website were rated "Mostly False, False or Pants on Fire", more than any other politician.

Trump directed hush money be paid to former Mistresses in a way that violated campaign finance laws.

Well, I guessed you were referring to the Far East, but I couldn't work out why as we were discussing U.S. Republicanism within the context of the U.S.

Strawman for sure.

And for sure also, ethnocentrism is a super word and would certainly befit the Old European Republican agenda.

And if self-defeating strawmanism and contradiction is the epitome of nuance, then you certainly have nuance by the bucketful.

As things stand you have only managed to confirm my initial assertion.

Well now the nightmare is here as conservatives now hold the megaphone.

My point is anyone who doesn't agree with those original values isn't a real Republican, let alone an extreme one.

You really have to wonder if WAPO is secretly supporting Trump given that they only counted to 30,000 misleading statements and then just stopped there.

A person who is most certainly literally Hitler should have much more than 30,000 misleading statements.

I say we burn the WAPO down for being a threat to democracy by not working hard enough to stop Hitler.

There have been studies on this and contrary to popular opinion, even first time politicians generally stay true to the platform they set when they campaign.
What is the current Republican Platform?  Oh yeah, I forgot, you don't have one.

When Democrats say that Republicans lie they usually mean "we don't like that opinion so it is a lie"
No, we mean Republican's lie....and we think your opinions are whack job conspiracies...big difference.

This is why you have nonsense terms like "mostly true" or "partly true" on "fact check" sites.

An actual fact checking site would have 2 and ONLY 2 ways to describe a fact.
What about the Republican term, "alternative facts", don't we need that as a third way to describe a fact?

This is where a lot of the left is dishonest. For example they will say Trump made that claim, but he really just said Obama should be releasing his birth certificate to stop people from questioning it.
Giving us an example of a Republican lie, ok, but we didn't really need one, Trump already gave us 30,000 examples.

Thett just made a thread about apparent lie accusations thrown at a Republican made ad campaign. Do you care to address his claims and stand behind this statement you are quoted as saying?

What is the current Republican Platform? Oh yeah, I forgot, you don't have one.
I can give you some of it

  • Border security, Republicans are against open borders.
  • Republicans believe that Americans should have guns to protect themselves
  • Republicans are pro securing elections as to prevent frauds and the integrity of the process
  • Republicans want to get struggling mother's to be help so they don't feel forced to murder their unborn children
  • Republicans are against making race based selections in hiring practices and think merit is what matters

Explain how wondering out loud why the president has not produced a birth certificate is the same exact thing as accusing the president of being born overseas? If anything it helps prove the president is an American citizen and shuts the doubters up.

Why would wanting to end untrue conspiracy theories make somebody a liar?
