TWS1405: Transgenders are less than 0.5-0.8% of the population, and LGBQ are less than 5-8% of the population. Most wouldn’t pass initial medical and psych screenings. So no, there wouldn’t be enough to “fill the ranks.”

The current transgender and LBTQ population could more than fill every position in the military.

Assuming that the U.S population number published online only takes into account those with a valid U.S citizenship and that there is no exception to the rule that you must be an American to serve in the military, the percent of American citizens who serve in the military is also 0.727%.

Really? Hmmm...guess my 5 years of active duty service in the US Army Military Police Corps (Airborne), service in Desert Shield/Storm, two tours to Gitmo and stationed at Fort Bragg "shows how little (I) know about the military." *rolling eyes*
