Exactly. The government should invest in this instead of babble all day regarding why abortion should be illegal. Other than to protect the benefits of *some* people, I see no reason to not research into this.

At this stage, the fetus should have its genes unaltered.

why bother "the government" with ECTOGENESIS

if these conservative "pro-lifers" put half of their energy and fund-raising behind serious ECTOGENESIS, "the solution" could be ready in less than two years

you really want to save the unborn ?

open a clinic where you can take out the fetus and keep it alive

do that

and NOBODY will ever murder another baby, EVAR

This is very possible by the current progression of technology, it can be developed NOW, it will just not be very profitable enough that people all around the US develop it.

I am a student. I have much to learn before I can do that and I hope I don't have to be the one inventing it because when I am old enough, it is too late.

What are those pro-lifers striving for again?

Women do not like the fact that their fetus which may begome a grown person will just die, but there are psychopathic asshole who will just do that. I believe they are the ones to be punished if any, and not all of them. Abortion, in my opinion, as of now, should be "innocent until guilty". If the womb-carrier is just doing it for fun without any need for abortion, that is where we probably need punishment if any.

they claim they don't want any children to suffer

I guess the position is being blamed for people using this position for incorrect reasons. These days, finding abortion reprehensive could get one cancelled. The position is technically less wrong theoretically and more practically because of how these people use it.

A fetus is involuntarily incarcerated without due process.
it is also a squatter, living rent-free

it is also an uninvited guest who refuses to leave

it is also an illegal immigrant, due to be deported

Twenty-two states limit abortion after a baby becomes viable outside of the womb [**]

I don't believe 22 states ban cattle slaughter.

So a fetus has a 1 in 3 chance of being treated with dignity. Good odds.

Can you slaughter your own animals in us?

A slaughter licence is not needed when slaughtering your own animal for your own consumption or consumption by your immediate family who live with you. However, certain operations both in slaughterhouses and when carried out on farms for the purpose of killing animals require a certificate of competence (CoC). [**]

This is precisely why it is morally abhorrent for the left wing to be less pro life than the right wing.

I get it, plan B pill, week 1 abortions but wtf is someone doing months in deciding to slaughter an unborn infant?

It is just insane to me unless her life is at risk or rape keeps traumatising her and it is within the first 3.5 months (really 2 months should be sufficient).

roe v wade is not about "morality"

roe v wade is about medical privacy and the limits of government interference
