Follow the instructions on this website for your browser, you can setup HTTPS forced connection without any extensions for Chromium browsers or Addons for Firefox.

Take note that for the Chrome thing, you should do the second thing they suggest but with less in the link, so:

chrome://flags 

then use ctrl+f or Mac equivalent to find 'HTTPS' and enable that.
