My mom says it is, but she's kinda woke, so I don't trust her judgement.  But family guy was able to say it and nobody cared(Chocolate people - YouTube).

No more or less "offensive" than referring to anyone as "Black," which isn't an apt description.

I guess it could depend on context.   https://youtu.be/Z6d_7NV17Bc

Stewie's character is supposed to be a megalomaniacal sociopath so Stewie's usage is in the context of what a fictional sociopath might say.  You can base your understanding of "what's offensive" on what fictional sociopaths get away with in cartoons or you can listen to your mom. Which choice seems more grounded in reality to you?

Are you talking about white chocolate? Cause then it's ok of course.

I didn't know you were a long-time fan of the Sacramento Kings.

The offender either emits sound waves or produces a visually perceivable narrative.

The offended detect sound or light waves, convert signals into data, and then create their own offense for their own purposes.

Alternatively they could just not bother to respond.

I would therefore suggest that people actually enjoy being offended.

If calling them “chocolate people” is appropriate, I will refer to white people as “flour people” and Asians as “semi-firm cheese people”.

And if you don’t get it, no, I don’t think it is.

In other words, being "offended" is ultimately one's own responsibility? I agree.

As a white person, I don’t mind being called flour people.  I think it’s funny.
