The funny part is that Korea isn't that most capitalistic type of country even in its vicinity. China has far worse poverty than Korea yet is called left-wing.

In Korea, they subsidise Insurance rather than healthcare itself and you can only lose that if you screw up badly or cancel it yourself.

They have essentially got 'national health insurance' that covers 80% of fees on average. The reason in squid game his mother didn't get it is he'd screwed up their credit score and cancelled the insurance on top of it.

Can't just about any kind of competition or gameshow can be seen as a metaphor for Capitalism?  If a game has one winner and many losers than that game is very like Capitalism in at least one respect.

Anything based off of merit and property rights can be a metaphor. So what?

I guess you could also say a prison is a metaphor for modern communism.

Sure, you have the commune and the central planners. Prison is a perfect model of modern communism.

I said elaborate not write something super vague in a single sentence.
It would be great if you would explain
What the commune central planners are; or like actually try to engage in debate.....?

Okay imagine a prison work camp, something along the lines Russia had.

You have the central planners running the prison camp and the prisoners are all treated equally and all work as they can. There's no private property and no inequality among the prisoners. The few central planners are tolerated for living nicely because they have the incredibly hard job of centrally planning everything.
All work is orchestrated by central planners and performed by prisoners. A perfect communist symphony. All needs are met and there's no tension due to inequality.

Communism: a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs; a stateless, classless moneyless society.

All needs are met and there's no tension due to inequality.
communism is not equality.
From each according to their ability is equity not equality.
A prison is nowhere near equal nor equity;  Prisoners get paid 15 cents to 2 dollars an hour for working for hours.
Also note that the prisoners are literally working for companies; its basically slavery.

There's no private property and no inequality among the prisoners
Wrong some prisoners have higher sentences than others that not equal if it was that's still not communism.
The prison they are in is a private property that they aren't allowed to leave.
The parts of the prison prisoners arent allowed can be called private property.
All work is orchestrated by central planners and performed by prisoners.
This can be a case made for prisons being capitalist.

The bourgeoisie elite do nothing while the proletariat prisoners give them their labour in exchange for 15 cents an hour.

Also the prison is literally filled with police in other words the state.

Now imagine this work prison is on an island and has to provide for itself.

Then it checks all the boxes.

communism is not equality.

When I said "no tension due to inequality," I meant due to wealth inequality as prisoners are not allowed to own anything.

but that's not how prisons work do they?
And if they did; my other points still remain.
When I said "no tension due to inequality," I meant due to wealth inequality as prisoners are not allowed to own anything.
People can own things in communism....... its called personal property
Karl Marx even mentioned that in the communist manifesto

"When, therefore, capital is converted into common property, into the property of all members of society, personal property is not thereby transformed into social property. It is only the social character of the property that is changed. It loses its class character. Let us now take wage-labour. The average price of wage-labour is the minimum wage, i.e., that quantum of the means of subsistence which is absolutely requisite to keep the labourer in bare existence as a labourer. What, therefore, the wage-labourer appropriates by means of his labour, merely suffices to prolong and reproduce a bare existence. We by no means intend to abolish this personal appropriation of the products of labour, an appropriation that is made for the maintenance and reproduction of human life, and that leaves no surplus wherewith to command the labour of others. All that we want to do away with is the miserable character of this appropriation, under which the labourer lives merely to increase capital, and is allowed to live only in so far as the interest of the ruling class requires it"

All privately owned property can be classified as capital by central planners. There's the rub.

A prisoner takes a spoon and hides it under the bed. This promotes wealth inequality. The spoon must be recovered and set back into the purview of social property.

He completely dropped what i wrote about it being more similar to capitalism.

Communism is blackmailed equality, you mean to say that socialism may not necessarily be equality but it really is the same idea in practise.

If you blackmail everyone who is capable to work for the profit of all those who immediately need, you end up with a society of repetitive workers and very little room for innovators or creative geniuses.

no its not a critique of capitalism but while were on the subject of debt, the evil "white capitalists" that you talk about are not the main pushers of debt, the main pushers are debt aren't even capitalist in the traditional scale

it is literally an elitist occult who wear golden masks like rothschilds and at the dinner scene, there is a triangle with a checkerboard pattern and two posts. This is a masonic ritual that usually involves blood and well the guards leave behind a knife for that purpose

The show is a right wing consipiracty theorist's dream

Is squid game a metaphor for capitalism?

I watched this series. Surprisingly I did quite like it.  I got the message it was about many things; tests of loyalty, survival, morals, ethics. The marbles game was interesting as was the glass bridge. I think they showed a lot  about  humans and what some would do or not do when put to the test.

Quite astute. So what have you concluded from the show conveying this masonic ritual?

The show is a right wing consipiracty theorist's dream
Is it really a "conspiracy theory"?

its probably a reflection of what they genuinely do. Its pretty common in entertainment to see this stuff. Did you see astroworld? The deaths are a result of low iq savages but the symbolism is there

Indeed it is.

Its pretty common in entertainment to see this stuff.
So what does this lead you to conclude about the Entertainment Industry, and by extension the entertainers themselves? Are you familiar with the origin of the term "Hollywood"?

Did you see astroworld? The deaths are a result of low iq savages but the symbolism is there
I am familiar with the events which occurred at the Travis Scott concert. And you're right, the masonic a.k.a. Luciferian imagery is far from inconspicuous. It's also interesting to note that Kylie Jenner--Scott's lover a.k.a. "Handler"--was named as a producer of this event. She, her sisters, and mother, and their unprecedented "rise to wealth and fame" are quite interesting. That whole family is interesting.
