I agree with Earth about analyzing wincon. It’s already clear that not all of them are the same and mafia players can simply fake their wincon.
However, Earth’s handling of the situation when asked his wincon seems scummy especially when stating that his wincon is “something like vanilla townie”

I did? I think I said something different.
My scum reads at this point is Wylted. He pressured me most of the game for claiming Miller when it is SOP for Miller to claim DP1.
First he states that any millers should be killed on DP1 which I disagree with. Millers could always be killed at night if there is some sort of vigilante role. Or saved for later day phases if there are other more scummy players. Wylted’s pressure on me seems very opportunistic.
I also slight scum read Oro based on his role, his reason to claim this day phase, and his leadership on suggesting everyone to claim wincons where it doesn’t really seem necessary.

my Wincon is different. Just something like "you are a vanilla townie". So nothing fancy. I hazard a guess Lunatic doesn't want us to use PM structure to make lynchs and will punish Town if they try.

I agree with Miller policy’s unless there’s a better alternative. I think Earth is that alternative. It’s harder than you think to create 10 different town wincons. People that had the hardest time to do so and have been shifting around should be sussed the most.
Just think about. It makes sense for Earth as scum to be pissed that he’s getting lynched over a wincon lol.

During the day the Gladiator can choose someone. Usually done in the same manner a daykill is, they can CHALLENGE <TARGET PLAYER>. All votes are reset. Only two players are now votable, the Gladiator and their target. It is almost always one-shot.
Variations
- Sometimes the Gladiator can choose more than one person
- Some mods give the Gladiator a time limit as to when they can use their power, like they cannot use their power past a midway point towards the deadline. (Imagine a 14 day deadline. They could not use their power past 7 days into the Day Phase)
- Sometimes the Gladiator's ability cannot be used in Lylo.
Use and Power
The Gladiator is an amazingly strong role[disputed] and should be used sparingly or not outside Role Madness games. In the hands of a strong town player who is in good standing (or a town player that has been confirmed), it should almost always spell death for their opponent. However, the possibility is always there for the tables to be turned. As a scum role, it should be used very carefully, or with a lot of flair, depending on personal style.
History
The role was inspired by a unique game mechanic in Mortal Kombat Mafia[1]
There is also a similar mechanic in the High Noon setup.[2]
