Wow. What a rebuttal speech by Sen. Tim Scott [R-SC] offered tonight in response to the This-is-not-a-State-of-the-Union speech by Biden tonight.
"Education is the closest thing to magic in America."
"You can't use race to solve discrimination."
"Original sin is not the end of the story."

Even if Donald Trump enters the race in 24, my vote is for Tim Scott.

Is it his energy that you're really worried about Doc?

And Trump energetic?....Must have been all those burgers and viagra.

What you actually need Doc, is younger, intellectual and eloquent. (Tim Scott)......All three sadly missing last time.

Tim Scott.....Good old school ring to it, but with a refreshing twist....What say you Doc?

So if the vote eventually came down to Scott or Biden, how much would having to make that choice tax your principles?

And begorrah....Scott or Harris.

I wouldn’t vote for Tim Scott. He’s too establishment for me. He wouldn’t win in the Rust Belt either and the GOP needs at least one state in the Rust Belt to win (excluding IA and OH Ofc)

We need a Hawley but without the whole "stolen election" baggage.

Big Ron is looking promising based on his anti-riot legislation and wrecking of lib journos, but I'm not sure what his positions would be on immigration and how nationalist he is in terms of free trade.

I read somewhere, that when we meet someone for the first time, it typically  takes about seven seconds to decide whether we like them or not.

First impressions that either do or do not meet very basic preconditioned requirements/standards.

I'm moderate conservative and want Rubio based on my views but I think he'd do poorly in Rust Belt but would essentially lock Florida and a couple other states.

I like Marco as a person. Policy wise, his past immigration stances hurt him in my books.

Nominee should be Trump or DeSantis 100%

Wouldn't want Trump just because of the reputation he's built and the GOP sorta abandoning him over the capital storming. I think DeSantis would be bettter to unite the party. I also think DeSantis has proven himself as Florida's governor

I like Rubio's immigration stance because it reflects some of my believes

You underestimate his support. Only reason Joe won was because you could vote from the comfort of your home. Without that, he would’ve lost in a landslide. Trump is a turnout machine. 45% of voters will support him no matter what. It’s the other 3-4% that are hard because they don’t like him tweeting (won’t be a factor this time lmao)

I won’t support anyone who believes in amnesty in any form whatsoever. Don’t forget that he was a part of the Gang of 8. Flake and McCain were disasters.

Yes, we need a stripper born in the Soviet Union as First Lady again. Though, Trump will probably be on his 4th wife by then.

Melania Trump was not born in USSR. She was born in Slovenia, which was once part of Yugoslavia, but neither were ever a Soviet state. And she was never a stripper, though did pose nude prior to meeting Trump. Get your facts straight. It's better to be credible than opinionated with error. No wonder we doubt the higher education claims of the; y'all prove its false all the time. By the way, she speaks five languagbes fluently: Slovenian, English, French, Italian, German. Five more than you.

It is noteworthy that there is no evidence that she speaks any language other than Slovenian and English with any actual degree of fluency. According to Political Flare, one language expert, John Aravosis, said that Melania Trump's claim she speaks five languages, excluding Slovenian, is not true.
