I retract this.We need to avoid getting overly attached to this notion of "both sides -ism." Becoming attached to one's identity as a centrist is no better than becoming attached to one's identity as a leftist or rightist. Any such attachments ultimately serve to impede one's capacity for rational thought. The reality is that the Democratic and Republican parties are two separate organizations with two very different histories, and as a result, each has developed its own unique set of problems over time (although there is undeniably a lot of overlap).

Here is the overlapp, their politicians ergo part of system of USA government. Republicans would have us get rid of government all together and run everything on capitilism first and those who fall behind deserve to perish.
They are sick in the head and lack access to their empathy centers. Plenty of that has occurred with humans, historiacally.
The year is 2018, not 1818 or 1718 and humans now have to think and act globally because we are expoentionally growing into a global village/community called Space-ship Earth.
We back off 24 hr bombers in the sky M.A.D but there is still plenty of submarines out there loaded with hydrogen weapons as well as the land based ones. Duhh!
