if you think there are things that are not debateable, what are some examples?

THBT: THINGS CHANGE

THINGS (plural things) is "that which is considered to exist as a separate entity, object, quality or concept."

CHANGE is  "to become something different."

The universe is singular including time. Past, present, and future exist equally.

This is just an example. Not an active argument. You can then respond with relativity.

well actually the relatively sparse air particles reflect the photons which we would call blue, which would not actually inform something as "being" blue.

Everything is debateable, as in, you could try to debate it.

But no amount of philosophical skepticism and logical syllogisms will break the objective reality of my fist colliding with your nose.

I could antithetically hold a solipsist point of view, and argue that only in my mind is such a thing true - that there is, in fact, another name that would be relegated to the real debateart.com

plus ca change plus c'est la meme chose

the more that changes, the more it's the same thing. - A French idiom

The grass is greener on the other side of the hill.

Even when you're on the other side of the hill, thus demonstrating the above.

I'm in my 72nd year. I can say a lot has changed, but can also say that it's been much the same, just different in style, but not much in substance.

Yeah, I'd say change is debatable.

  • singularities are not static
    • we see that black holes grow or shrink depending on the angular momentum of material sucked
  • If you and I were the same component of singularity, we would be of one mind.
    • If we were of one mind, we'd agree that things chance.

Αν όλες οι αλλαγές αποφέρουν το ίδιο, τι άλλαξε;

If all changes bring the same, what has changed?

Actually, the concept of the French idiom would make an interesting debate. Interested?

If you were able to see all past, present and future simultaneously, it would be static.

We don’t need to be of one mind to acknowledge things change relatively.
Even if our experiences vary.

Acknowledging past, present, and future concedes the change of time.

We don’t need to be of one mind to acknowledge things change relatively.
relativity requires an observer and observed- at least two positions in space.
More than one position in space disproves singularity.

Even if our experiences vary.
Variety disproves singularity.
Variable experience proves things change.  If nothing ever changed, experience would not vary.

Certain things are, by definition, true, thus making them practically undebatable. For instance, the statement, "A bachelor is not married," is true by definition, making any counter-argument futile.

Time is a subjective measurement which can be extrapolated.

Space is not a perfect vacuum.

Variety disproves singularity.
Variable experience proves things change.  If nothing ever changed, experience would not vary.
Variable experience proves ignorance.

"A bachelor is not married," Is not a definition in and of itself.

“Bachelor” and “married” have multiple definitions which can be combined to create an ambiguous statement.

It is possible you can mean a bachelor (a person with said degree) is not married to his profession.
