If we were talking about something in general it wouldn't; however, because you are claiming the god to be perfect - that is exactly how it is - by definition something which if perfect can not improve, thus if they created something that could improve then they did not create something perfect, and thus weren't perfect in that aspect

If they create something that isn't perfect, then they aren't perfect - it has nothing to do with "the right" to do something - it has to do with the definition of perfect
