Why would I kill mikal tonight if I town read him? I was willing to do so before because I town read you based on your role, and mikal wanted out anyway. But if he is going to play legit there's no reason to kill him. Also I doubt I'll need your own vote to get this lynch off based on the conflicting and easily verifiable information available to us now.

Lunatic's pivot on his claim rubbed me the wrong way initially, but as I think about it I have to agree that there is ultimately little utility in him complicating his role as scum. As far as I know (I could be wrong), mods don't have to tell you if your role is weak or some other variant, so that checks out... I'm not 100% sold on Lunatic but I'm leaning town.
As for Drafterman... Drafterman is mostly playing to his town meta with tunneling Mikal & now Lunatic... But that doesn't mean a whole lot. Regarding Lunatic's theory that Drafterman is pivoting because he isn't actually a strengthener and is scum... If he were scum, his "strengthen" role could simply be getting his scum buddies to not hit his "target" with a roleblock or visit them at all in Lunatic's case... If he were scum he'd go along with Lunatic's plan to "confirm" himself, so I don't see this as an admission to being scum. Really, I think Drafterman is being a stubborn ass townie as usual. When it became clear Lunatic's plan was a gamble, he got frustrated and wanted to lynch instead.
Regarding whether to lynch/vig elminster.... He's looking town to me & contributing. I haven't seen him whine about quitting since the beginning of the game. I see no reason to push for his lynch/night kill any further. I think our efforts are better spent questioning some of the quieter parties.

Also go be clear I was not whining about quitting. I was going to ask for a replacement because there is virtually no point in putting in effort when drafter already has some illogical position that he's going to vote me and never remove his vote in every game ever

I think the dynamic of what drafter was saying is different.
