I will try to fix it somehow but usually the website should be robust and there is no reason to click multiple times. Or is it slow for you?

I propose adding a gold modal for becoming the lowest ranked user.

The notifications button is always on even when I have no new messages.  Can you fix it?

Try to load all the activities for the past month or so. Most likely it's there because there are activities that haven't been marked as read.

I accidentally report posts every few days due to the report button being so close to the delete/edit/thumbs up buttons. Perhaps a quick "are you sure you wish to report this post?" pop-up when reporting posts?

Yeah, it could easily be done, but reporting button can be toggled so you can always unreport things, until it's fixed.

Speaking of reports, any chance of adding a text box for us to give details on why we’re making the report?

You have recently added a new feature when a debate goes into a voting period. The debate in question I am referencing is "Life is created by God" which has an icon of a square tick and something else below it. I suggest that be removed and replaced with letters because I don't think people would realize that hovering over reveals how much time is left. It is not really the a common occurrence to hover over things to reveal important information. If you don't want to remove the icon simply make the writing smaller underneath. Doing this will reduce the time it would take to know how long the voting period is.

Well, there will be more icons there at some point so I cannot replace it with text. Also it's not that important, just a minor indicator

I just wanted to warn you guys that I have been working on updating some infrastructure for the website so the new features will continue popping up once I am done with this stuff, which may take a while, probably till the end of this week or so.

My pictures are not very detailed. Is it because of the decrease in size or something?

With the picture now. Batman Under the Red Hood it is very detailed given the size is like 4. something mb. Is there any way you can make photos with less data more detailed or can you increase the picture size bigger or something else entirely?

Changed the picture and it is detailed given the photo size.

Hi!

So the logic is that images get resized to 140x140px and that can cause issues if the initial quality of the image was crap and there is not much I can do about it. But if you upload an image of good quality and it turns into crap, then it's an issue.

welp. Why not?

With the files that is higher than 1 mb the detail has been better so it isn't an issue.

Because people write their PhD thesises about such things, this stuff is complicated.

Isn't a storage problem more than it is a technical one?

Not really. So let me start from the beginning:

1) If you try to upload an image of bad quality, doesn't matter if it's 200 KBs or 5 MBs, it will be bad anyway, there is no way for me to make it better than the original.

2) If you upload an image of good quality, it will be simply reduced to 140x140 px and even though I do some basic compression which may reduce quality, in most situations it's not even visible, especially on those 140x140 avatars.

There may be an issue on some screens like MacBooks' retina though, which I will address at some point later.

If you are a Russian spy looking at people with an interest in making policy like debaters and want to pull the whole blackmail people by giving them a multitude of beautiful women to have an orgy with and piss on, than just set up a time and place for me to jump on this opportunity
