I have fixed that problem with the invalid counter value, it was just a presentation problem so I first wanted to finish some other things and that's why it took me so long.  Anyway, thanks again for the help!

Also I have completely rewritten the PM system using another library, which is much better than the previous one and soon we'll have it working in a real time mode and after that, we'll have our long awaited multi PMs.

Yes I noticed it worked yesterday, thanks for the update, it helped a lot with a 1k char debate vs WisdomofAges

You know how DDO has a place for individual opinions on certain issues on people's profile?  Can that be added to DART?

Yeah, quite a few people mentioned it before and it's not that hard to add it, we'll just need to do it in a different way than DDO has

Why would we have to do it in a different way then what DDO has?  Not everything about DDO is good, but this is a good feature.  A lot of other things on this site are similar to DDO, but without the glitches or the spam.  I left DDO because of the glitches on that site.

Can we get rid of the sound that plays whenever you send someone a private message?

I think it's fine. I don't like it that much and the replies are still not real time withotu refreshing but it does seem to be faster.

Wait wait, the replies must be real time, why do you think they aren't real time?

Oh okay, the main difference is that now, hopefully, you don't need to update the page when somebody replies to you, the new messages should be appearing in the real time mode.

Can you add a leaderboard for comments added to debates?

I could and I would probably merge it as another column for the debates leaderboard.

And guys, I am afraid there are quite a few issues in the real life that fell down on me and it may slow me down for some time, probably a month or so. I am moving to another country and there is a huge personal issue that also involves some travelling and organising.

An idea for an alternative voting system: Changed Opinion.

This is taken from how some live debates are handled, specifically from an article Tejretics shared. Judges cast ballots only reflecting the strength of their opinion before and after the debate. Moving from agreed/disagreed with to neutral (or neutral to agreed/disagreed) would say be worth 1 point, and from agreed to disagreed (and vice versa) would be worth 3? (if you want to collect meta data, maybe an option for strongly agreed/disagreed, but I would not grant extra points).

I view this as something which would have only minimal moderation. And due to the risk of no voters beginning in the position of agreed to certain claims, no ELO impact.

I started working on the project again but I noticed that implementing even simple things become more and more complicated due to some shortcuts that were made during the previous development phase so first I am gonna fix those and then we'll get back to implementing new stuff. Also during the refactoring, I will add some minor features that were requested by some folk so there's also that. Hopefully refactoring will take 2-3 weeks. I know it sounds like a lot but trust me, it's better to spend some time now than suffer much more in a few months.
