This. We just deleted my original TOS discussion thread so no one would get confused between that and what's on the footer

Ok, that explains it then. Posts got deleted, reverted me back to under 1k. Then the delay made it so the post count was delayed in being updated to be back over 1k 👌. 

At first I was like, "OY, i know none of my posts merit deleting. 17k+ on DDO and not a dang deleted post or ban throughout" wuts going on here? 😤"

New changes

Added a way for the mods to mark forum topics as "read-only" or put a pin on them ( before that, pinning was possible only through me ).

At this point, I am most likely gonna move to the debates section and make some improvements there and after that to the messages section.

Other forum improvements like signatures, better quoting and the like are gonna be implementing in second round.

I plan to add a thread, like there is on DDO, for new members and to pin that, but otherwise I think we'll keep the pins to a minimum.

Yeah, as I mentioned to somebody around a month ago, the back-end part is already there, I'll just need to come up with some design and it will be there. I am gonna move to the debates now, make some improvements there and then will be the turn for the PM system. I'll try to make it real time and maybe add support for group messages as well.

New changes:

  1. Fixed another problem with timestamp updates when topics get pinned or marked as read-only.
  2. Added a mod icon to the profile page
  3. Made the debate and new argument pages "full width". Hopefully it looks a bit better than before. Let me know what you guys think about it.

I like the full width for debates, fwiw.

In addition to a time stamp for each post, could we get text that says 1 day ago, 2 days ago, 2 weeks, etc? Like on DDO. It was convenient.

If you do change the width back I hope it's still a toggle option or something. Full width makes it easier for me to read debates which makes it more likely for me to vote. Not that it's super important for me to be a voter.

i don't know if it's been mentioned, but it would be good for the site to get it high on google's search of debate websites.
I could call Google and ask them to put me on the first place but I am not sure if they'd go for it. Jokes aside, I've done everything on my side to make search engines like me (except the presence of the mobile version) and it may take time for the website to pop up on a good place, I imagine a few more months so I guess we'll see how it goes.

Yeah I also think it's easier to read stuff in the full width mode. I think it's just a matter of getting used to but I guess we'll see

The fonts look untidy and weird. 

The sideward expansion has made cases seem smaller than they actually are. 

And the categories sidebar was useful so I could just directly click to look at debates from a particular category. 

I'm also just used to the sidebar being around, as on DDO.

Really though, for reasons I'm not quite able to explain, it's significantly impairing the readability of my own debate rounds for me, to the point where I'm having to C/P my opponent's case into a Google Doc to read it. 

I really want a non-full-width mode.
