What do you guys think of Beach
Assuming that you mean 'Bleach', I think it starts off great and gets very weird and side-story heavy so much so that after the Bount Arc is finished the series is in such deep chaos that the starting of the actual storyline with the Espada seems like just another side-story/filler.
The artwork is fantastic and the story itself is great for sure but I just feel the order of the storyline was a bit iffy (yes, literally things that happened before and after other things could have been structured differently, it wasn't entirely chronological once the fillers came in). I also think that it tried too hard to have so many massive twists, rather than focusing on finessing some twists and mainly being straightforward. There end up being so many twists that it's somewhat confusing who really is a good guy (again this starts happening shortly after the Bount Arc ends, everything about the series gets really chaotic around then).
Until the Bount Arc and even during it, you felt clear on who stood where (despite a massive twist with Aizen). Slowly after that Arc ends, you begin realising that the entire storyline is far more complex than you'd imagined and a lot of the 'bad guys' had simply come to see soul reapers and quincy as the villains, which further complicates who to root for and why.
The series also is so utterly huge that it becomes daunting for you as a viewer to feel you are watching for hours just to progress for a tiny bit of storyline. I do appreciate the effort put in and all the actors and even directors did a great-effort job. This is just about execution of a project and the mysteries of art. Something about the execution felt 'off' for me. The 'natural flow' of a storyline felt absent.
