I'm not sure why you were linking this for me. Bernie won New Hampshire. He absolutely dominated Nevada. Unless Biden can beat his polls in South Carolina (to show that he is still relevant), Bernie is going to sweep super tuesday and the race will be decided.

It is amazing that an adult American, living in America, who has lived in America most or all of his life, could think that Sanders could win a National Election.

It will be most interesting to get their sound bites after the election.

lol why would you think he can't? The polling says he can and will.

The polling said Hillery was going to win too.

But the real reason I think Sanders can't win is not the socialism issue, it's the same reason Nixon lost beside Kennedy, and Carter lost beside Reagan.

Appearance. Sanders looks and has the mannerisms of someone unstable. He gives the impression of an old cranky grandfather.

A belligerent guy who doesn't care about his own safety is great to have when you want to shout a f-you! to power, but most people, not even the ones cheering as he screams f-you! are comfortable with him being in charge, being the boss.

Sanders is not an American version of a hero. Or of a President.

If I took charge of his campaign, I would make him get and keep a haircut, fix his teeth, and forbid him from saying wacky left wing stuff.

He still wouldn't win, but he wouldn't be embarrassed.

no. the polling said she would win the popular vote. Which she did, by millions of votes. However she ran a bad campaign and ignored important states and working people. that is not a mistake Bernie would make.

Hillary's polling showed she would win the swing states. Winning a supermajority of the popular vote in the Coastal states won't elect any president.

Like what was Hillary supposed to do with the 4 million extra votes she got in California to win that state?
Those extra votes plus a dollar can get you a sausage McBiscuit.

I totally agree. She and the other corportists in the democratic establishment stopped trying to win over working class voters. They decided to become indistinguishable from republicans on economic policy but just engage in identity politics and be a bit less racist. They were then shocked that was not a winning electoral strategy.

What makes you think Bernie is going to win a state like Wisconsin where working people and blue collared are key. He isn't. Bernie is the WORST candidate to turn the votes against Trump. He is extremely on the left and people on his own party have ridiculed him. He has passed only 7 pieces of legislation from 1991-2020. It is extremely horrendus. He fails to appeal to Conservatives and won't switch states. Bernie will not be able to win

because bernie's entire pitch is to working class people. He will get them better education, better healthcare. They are the main part of his base.

Bernie is the WORST candidate to turn the votes against Trump.
that is kind of the point though. None of the democratic candidates are going to convince trump's base to turn on him. They are essentially cultists. Defeating trump isn't about convincing republicans or the somewhat mythical "moderate voters". It is about convincing people who don't usually turn out to vote at all to come vote. And sanders is the only candidate that can do that.

He is extremely on the left and people on his own party have ridiculed him.
his own party is run by corporatists who are, in many ways, no different than the republicans. They hate him because he is a direct threat to their corruption and graft.

He fails to appeal to Conservatives and won't switch states.
again, it isn't about convincing republicans. It is about convincing non voters.

But your again taking the life away from farmers and having them make a profit from their goods, and having it government regulated for a smaller wage they can potentially make with capitalism versus socialism, so no, he won't change the vote for those states, in fact, repelling supporters in the state. In fact look at the swing states. Trump will carry Ohio and probably carry PA. 100M didn't vote in 2016, which is a normal amount. If you think he can turn out states like Florida to get voters to vote, when he is a radical is laughable. People don't vote for radical unless there is dire cause. There is no dire cause

It's a Radical vs a Moderate Conservative. The radical is less likely to gain traction due to, radical beliefs. The radical side will be strayed away to favor Trump.

what? no one is saying that.

most of the american population disagree. Trump is an absolute mess who could set of a new war at any moment. He regularly abuses his power and engages in rampant corruption.

It's a progressive against a corrupt, criminal, oligarch. My money is on the progressive.

But the corporation isn't evil
I said corporatist. Basically it means they engage in socialist policies, except instead of using government resources to help the poor and working class, they funnel as much money as they can to the rich and corporations. It is corporate socialism, corporatism. The Republicans love it, the establishment dems love it.

I’d also like to reiterate Bernie never worked an honest job to be criticize a system he’s never been involved in
he's devoted his entire life to helping people. Explain to me why that is worse than devoting your life to avarice and corruption?

lol that doesn't even make sense. The only reason he is a millionaire is that he wrote a book and people wanted to read what he had to say. He is a millionaire specifically because he has spent a lifetime fighting for people and building up credibility.

Who cares how he GOT the money? The fact that he HAS it is inconceivable.

Not to mention getting Superpacs to purchase books is right up there with using your children to launder money for political favors.

Bernie aint the only politician to "mysteriously" become an "amazing" author of a book. In fact, nearly all politicians eventually cash in on the scam, including Obama.

And if you, I don't know, make the third largest company in the entire world and invest for decades, why wouldn't you deserve $100 billion? Seems a lot more productive and important than writing a book.

God forbid you start a business for peoples' benefit and actually succeed.

Nah, corporations don't create job opportunities, they can only force a transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich.

Unemployment is where it is at.

Sanders is currently ignoring the center and right of center with his leftist nonsense. But as I said, it isn't his socialism that will sink him, its his image.

you realize you are describing trump and not bernie, right?
Yet Trump won. That should tell you something. And Trump isn't a radical yelling F-you! to power. Trump has always known that the power belongs to the people. And he tweets truth directly to the people so they know what's going on, and don't have to depend on the fake MSM.

You actually think Sanders would win against Trump. Are you American?

ok, so there is no difference between a man who has worked hard for decades fighting for his constituents and any other method of getting money? Also, why is it inconceivable? That doesn't make and sense.

Bernie aint the only politician to "mysteriously" become an "amazing" author of a book. In fact, nearly all politicians eventually cash in on the scam, including Obama.
Bernie has spent decades fighting for the people. The people wanted to read more about him and his thoughts. And you see that as evidence of corruption?

Why? Why does him being a millionaire cause any problem at all? He made money by serving the people and fighting for their well being.
