Theme difference was Mafia were from games town won, town was from games mafia won.

Thoughts: Zaradi and grey didn't do anything bad, they took a gamble with a gambit that didn't work. It was a good try though and if it worked probably would have secured them to the endgame.

BTW this is the first town win 8 games (I think MCU heroes was the last) so great job townies. I half expected Zaradi to pull a win out of his ass, given everyone wanted to confirm zaradi for the cop fake claim I gave him. BTW it is true, I usually give mafia a really solid fake claim. Last game I hosted, I gave them the main character of the story. I do this to influence looking at behavior over claims. I also had town slightly more powerful than mafia in this game, they needed four mislynches, and had a couple "confirmable" roles with the mason and DD.

The cop fake claim was ROCK SOLID if it weren't for Water's results. Yeah it was "Tantamount to bastard game"

I decided  if there was a TOWN win where PartamRuhem played a ROLEBLOCKER that would that WP must be the liar because what are the odds?  God damned if there isn't a town win out there where PartamRuhem is ROLEBLOCKER  I now suppose the odds are probably better than I guessed- I could only find six or seven PartamRuhem games but there could be tons.  Old-timers had a big advantage in knowing the relative frequency of some playernames.

I stand by that claim, but I think the lesson is, just because a result means it's a bastard game doesn't mean it isn't true. You weigh the possibilities and choose the best case.

In this case, it was a bastard game, lol.

I prioritize balance to "bastarding". I think giving mafia one good fake claim isn't bastard, it's tantamount to being bastard if a town player can just say they are a character and will be automatically town confirmed too, I think giving a good fake claim or role isn't too messed up IMO. I've done it in the last like 10 games I've hosted though so at least it's been consistent lol. Peeps just gotta remember role confirmation =/= affiliation confirmations
