This is false.  In truth I lock myself into an explicit claim very early on but I try to encrypt it or disguise it somehow if I don't think I should say.  But I try to make it sufficiently sensible so that the clue could not be more than one possible claim.  This should lend my claim credit for early claiming while preserving uncertainty where advantageous.  I think everybody should be doing it because it makes fake claiming that much more dangerous.

"always" is twice false.  Just two games ago I full claimed as my one and only post because it seemed best for town.

This early cooperation among the townies with the whole popcorn claiming is a good sign, though we should probably have a discussion about the general concept in the endgame so that people understand why claiming out-of-turn in a popcorn scenario is anti-town. Good signs so far, just need oro to hop on so we can keep this train rolling.

No.  It is a terrible idea.  Bullish has already (accidently?) revealed himself as VIG.  I think a better idea would have been to claim game, not character but I its too late now.  Only claim if its going to aid town please.

Lmao no. As scum if I saw that I would just pick a wacky role madness game to leave my options open for later role claims. The whole point is to lock scum into a limited set of potential fake claims while also incentivising them to not lie about their character by making them worry about being counter-claimed, thus further screwing them my not just allowing them to look for a role they want then using that find for the popcorn.

I considered not saying anything but I figured scum was already on it so town should know plus he's calling on me to claim while dropping his own pants so I thought I'd make it clear.  Seems a little too obviously dumb, so could be a ruse.

Right now with no mass character claim scum can claim whatever role is convenient for them to claim then find a player that had that role before and claim it. If they lock themselves into a certain player as their character then later on if it becomes convinient for them to, for example, claim doc they have to cross their fingers and hope that their claimed character just happened to be a doc at some point in a past game.

It is so simple that Supa could get it. Supa, explain it to this man.

I think any sensible interpretation of my request that you explicitly claim would be to do so clearly, and openly, without obfuscation. Historically your "clues" aren't sensible and do not lock you into a single claim, just as you were confused for Kenny in South Park mafia when you weren't.

Your clues are too arcane, obscure, and vague to actually lock you into a single claim.

I don't see anything in your post remotely close to a claim that has been requested, so I want it put on the record that you are refusing to cooperate with town.

My vote stays until you make a clear, unobfuscated claim.

I reread the OP:

This does change my view a bit. Last game I was scum partner with Grey he indicated he disliked fake claim, even when we were provided a fake claim by the mod.

What exactly is this referring to? If you're talking about my vote on GP, I really REALLY doubt that the one game he doesn't immediately claim in as town just so happens to be one where fake claiming as scum is hard to do.
