Ok found Danielle's forums. She has played A LOT, so even as scum I don't know why Grey would hesitate to claim her. I think it's because sorting through and finding a specific role that fits the game takes time.

Though Anti is the player who had that role, not the character.
I could only find three games with Endarkened in it and he was town in all of them.

- No harm for town to claim just their characters, of they keep all other info hidden then their role is not recealed to scum.
- Mass character claim suggested by myself and quickly agreed to by many others for the above reasons, popcorn pattern suggested by bullish.
- Oro got popcorned and refuses to claim. Tries to convince us that mass character claiming is anti-town.

And this is the problem with oros argument. Even if very few games are found immediately upon searching for a players games that is more likely because there have just been so many games on DDO over the years and less likely because they have not played many games and their role is therefore easily indicated by their fake claim alone.

That's not even what I was trying to explain to DD.
Fake claiming a ROLE isn't necessary for scum from the game I played with you as scum.
Forget the characters which are already safe due to being unique and probably themeless.
Luna is notorious for setting up games where scum team isn't going to be caught with simple mechanics.

That is a lie. I only declared that claiming my character is anti-town because it will make my role obv. I'm not trying to convince anybody of anything. Interesting that DD should perceive that, tho.

That's not for you to decide. The town has chosen you to claim, so you claim. If that's antitown to do so, that is the risk that comes with the claim. But you still claim. You just don't unilaterally decide to snub town.
Also, the claim would only make your role obvious if your player was in exactly one game which is unlikely.
Still, you need to claim.

I agree it is a problem with the argument. In fact, I have found a few more examples of games my username was in, a couple within our subset and a couple without. I don't like this "safe claim" tangent by grey.
What are safe claims designed to do? Help scum not get caught by theme analysis and also help them not get caught by getting counter claimed.
Was the purpose of the mass claim to try to catch scum with theme analysis? No.
Was the purpose of the mass claim to try to catch scum by counter-claiming? No.
Therefore is whether scum may or may not have gotten some form of fake claim at all relevant? No.
I don't think GP is actually unable to see this for himself. I really do think he is scum and trying to argue against it to help his scum buddy oro (who I am pretty sure we are supposed to policy lynch now for stalling the popcorn to buy his team time to research up fake claims).
I think Grey gets locked into a way of thinking about the game and sticks to it to the end. Which is his way, most often as town.

I don't think so personally, for reasons I gave to oro when he suggested such.
