So tomorrow it'll just be vanilla town vs. mafia goons.

I think lynching the person with the least activity is better than lynching the person that simply was the last to post. In this case, that would be Pie.
Unvote. VTL Pie.
It's too easy for Mafia to fly under the radar by being less activity, especially when Town out numbers them by so much. I'd rather lynch the people who interact the least thereby forcing everyone else to be more active and generate more content for analysis. All we are going to have to go on are people's statements.
Since that's all we have to go on, I think we should cut down on fluff and jokes since that's just going to create noise.

This reasoning works for me.

@Barney
--> @oromagiI have an math professor uncle who is fond of talking about how humans don't do random, that we can't really be random even when we try.Not even computers can be truly random, they're just good enough at approximating it to suite our purposes.
agreed. randomness is mostly self-delusion applied to factors we can't quantify or comprehend (like the physics of rolling dice)
I wish greyparrot would just admit that he is scum so we could move on to NP.Has he done anything to imply that he's scum? ... Either way, I doubt he'd pull a Cog "I am Ironman."
He's actually done it in three games I've played with him here on DART since the summer. He just made DP1 pretty easy in OSBM II. Hence, his mention in my mafia rally cry.
In fact, I did soft claim early on (Vanilla I Guess POST#96) but I've since soured on the efficacy of making such a claim.
also, TUF is suspiciously inactive
As far as the debate goes between random lynching, and inactive lynching goes, I would provide an alternative if your looking for a policy to adopt. Why not auto lynch players who you would rather not have in an endgame scenario making LYLO decisions, like grey, wylted or supa. I wouldn't support this logic in most game types, only in an all vanilla game when there is no behavior to go on. That said, I don't actually suppose we do that now.
Speed is basically confirmed town, so I am going to follow his lead on ragnar.
I am not crazy picky about who we lynch, honestly. I don't have a solid town read on anyone but speed so it won't be hard to convince me, given there seems to be no risk to mislynching power roles, and we need to thin the herd a bit. It will be easier to use behavior analysis in later day phases when we can analyze night kills and wagons.

@oromagi
lol right as I post. Yeah I was on a plane all day yesterday visiting my mom for christmas. I'll be active today.
-->
@Lunatic
that's twice in this game i namecheck someone and they magically appear.
-->
@oromagi
3 out of how many games? Still, slim odds... It alone is unfortunately not an indicator of him being mafia or town (the two sides of the Gambler's Fallacy).
-->
@Barney
3 out of 9

@Greyparrot
Let's try it again. Gosh, Greyparrot has hardly participated at all.

It’s stupid. My inactivity is due to the fact I’m in/was in DART Survivor, Supa’s QF, DD’s Game.
Combine that with school and the last two weeks before finals with all the tests, I literally don’t have time. I’ll re-read and respond to everything today.
At best inactivity is a policy lynch if the person doesn’t respond. But I can and I will. This wagon is premeditated
so basically, everybody is here and everybody is lurking like scum. how helpful

@oromagi
hi ORO

@oromagi
All I know is supa is 100% town from his near CP pm about being vanilla.
-->
@drafterman
Lynching speed is dumb. Even if he's lying, vig wouldn't CC, he'd just NK him. It's a problem that solves itself.

Luna? :P just kidding.
-->
@oromagi
ive got my vote down, lets lynch rag today and continue activity tomorrow.
-->
@Greyparrot
-->
@Lunatic
what's the rationale? I think I may have a blind spot when it comes to Ragnar...
-->
@Lunatic
Mildly pointless to lynch me, when I've pissed Speed off enough by schooling him on math that he is guaranteed to night kill me (assuming he's the vig, which my earlier process of elimination strongly supports).
Unless you have a different night kill suggestion for him?
-->
@Lunatic
@Barney
good point. speed promised to vig rag tonite- lunching the target would wreck the test
Vote Count
Ragnar (3/6): speed, warren, lunatic <-- L3

You could, you know, shoot someone else.
He could*
-->
@Barney
@oromagi
His kill tonight is pointless, he's most definitely gonna be thr night kill. But I would suggest he kill water based on consistent inactivity.
-->
@drafterman
No, drafter! That's dumb! He can only shoot ragnar![He] could, you know, shoot someone else.
eyeroll
Let's just lynch ragnar and speed can shoot someone else in the night.
