How come the website is DebateArt.com but this subforum is DebateArt.org?

That's a mistake from my side. Initially it was supposed to be org but then I went with the com and apparently missed this piece and didn't change it.

I will correct it with the next deployment ( probably tomorrow )

Why can't I visit my profile? I don't want to update it, just look at it.

After you hit "profile edit", look to the left where it says "profile"....it's the same, I'm guessing that is what people are looking at when they visit your profile.

I take that back, it is different when I look at someone else's profile.....weird.

Try going into a topic you posted in and clicking your pic, that seems to work...

Yeah, I am afraid there is no way to jump to your general profile page from inside the office but it's a good idea, I will try to add a link there somewhere.

Also I wanted to point out one big thing that is missing from the profile pages. It's impossible to find the user's debates, forum posts and etc like you can on DDO. I know it's important and it will definitely be implemented at some point.

I am afraid it's not that easy to do, unfortunately.

I know it's a huge inconvenience not being able to edit forum posts but it will be implemented soon. A lot of people have already asked this so I am on it :)

I don't know who is in charge of creating this site but whoever it is, is doing a fantastic job. Easy layout like DDO but even better IMO, I like the subtle art flare really cool. One neat feature I saw on another forum was a "persuade me" feature as a lighter more casual debate option, that could be a cool feature as it's own forum for those who want to be more "open-minded" about debate/discussing something.....could be universal or could be specific but anyways I thought that was interesting.

Yeah I've also stumbled upon this feature and it does seem interesting so one day it may be implemented here. Actually I have many cool ideas in my head that we could discuss and implement here :) But I am afraid it's not gonna be that soon because at the moment the biggest priority is to properly implement the core functionality, like adding a way to edit forum posts, bots protection, good profile pages and a whole lot of things regarding the debates implementation. So even though the devs don't have much of a life, it's still time consuming but we'll get there :)

What will the site's nickname be? "D-A" doesn't have a nice ring to it. Neither does "D-A-C."

if you coin a term, it'll probably become the norm henceforth because nobody has used an abbreviation for the site yet.

I was thinking of DAC. 

Im sure in time a good nickname will pop up.
