What would you rather I claimed than BP? How is it safe to claim?

Tin foil hat theory: If RM is scum, smith is very possibly RM's buddy here. Asking someone what they would rather claim is rather odd in mafia. This is something I'd expect from a scum slipping to a buddy

Now I see why people hate playing with RM. RM is the best lynch today IMO. Town loses nothing by lynching a BP claim. We won’t run the risk of losing an investigation or protection role and scum won’t try to kill RM anyway
