The guy explained it pretty well have a second read

Okay so hypothetically if there were another substance that had that same property then what would that prove? Would you stop saying that God made water special just for life to exist?

@Discipulus_Didicit
is there another substance with the same property.

it is special because

It is as if someone foresaw that without this property, there won't be life and DESIGNED this property into the Universe so that life CAN exist....

it seems god did the same thing with the sun. the moon the planets orbits stuff but if a fire ball like the sun moved in an elliptical orbit burning everything in its path it would spell trouble  so god gave it properties so it would not do that.

There might be, or maybe I am just bluffing. I am waiting on you to put your money where your mouth is before I reveal.

Tell me here and now, if there are other substances with this same property will you stop claiming that water was specially designed by God just for life to exist? Answer this question with a simple yes or no. If you say yes and I am unable to name such a substance within 5 minutes then I will change my profile religion settings to anything you want me to change it to. Permanently.

This offer expires 10 minutes after I make this post.

Hydrogen fluoride is more dense as a gas than as a liquid.

Every time I see you use the 'god done made water special so life could exist' argument I will now link to this post where you agreed not to use it again.

I meant to say Hydrogen fluoride. Copy-paste clipboard got mixed up and I was in a hurry due to the self-imposed time limit. My original post has been edited to reflect.

If you want other examples, silicon... bismuth... This really isn't hard for you to find for yourself. You have the largest public database of information in human history at your fingertips.

Anyway to answer your question in post 31, as I already pointed out the sun is a star and all stars are sun's. I really am curious how old you are if you did not already know that basic fact of astronomy.

Silicon, density as a solid: about 2.33g/ml. Density as a liquid: about 2.57 g/ml

Do I really have to hold your hand through this?

The sun does the same thing as over 99.99% of stars. It is not special. They all orbit the center of mass of their galaxy. (modified slightly by dark matter hocus-pocus clearly beyond your level of understanding as I said before).

Yes solid silicon floats on liquid silicon.

Dear lord... 2.33 is an approximate of the figure you just linked (2.329) which in turn is probably an approximate of the actual figure. I made this clear when I used the word 'about' in my post.

If someone said something was 5.99878908789878986655776678 miles away would you use that figure every time or would you say "it is about 6 miles away" so that your message could be more easily read? This is just how humans talk.

But if you want to be like that then fine, tell me... Is 2.329 more than 2.57 or less than 2.57? Less? So solid silicon floats on liquid silicon? Okay good.

Seriously how old are you?

So now you have agreed to stop claiming "water is special therefore god done do it"... Want to keep playing this game? We can take on your claim that the sun is special next. What is special about the sun that sets it apart from other stars?

So there is quite a few.
Moving on.
If God made things precisely we wouldn't be born with a foreskin would we.?
Yes , your god back in the day wanted males to be circumcised. He doesn't care anymore but alllllll,l the god said it must be done.

Anddd no i won't say it.

Foreskins no problem.

It's only old perverts that enjoy abusing little boys and girls.

Which of these categories does the OT boss-man fall under?

If there was such a being, wouldn't you hope that it would be omni-sensible.

Do you think that it would design little boys penises, just for the amusement of pervy old Jews.

wouldn't you hope ..

Well sure, lots of people hope lots of things. I don't see how that is relevant to what is actually the case though. OT shot-caller Yahweh obviously did order the cutting of foreskins whether we like it or not.

Actually now I see that my question was nonsensical. You see, it came about as a result of misreading post 53. I thought you said "only old men and perverts" when in fact you said "only old perverts"... So I was asking which category big daddy from the OT fell under, the old men category or the pervert category. Hope that clears things up.

Although now the question becomes "is OT God an old pervert?"

Well, as far as I am concerned the god of the O.T. is a human construct.

Therefore, so is circumcision.

Therefore logically, circumcision is perverse and so by association someone that practices the ritual mutilation little boy's penises is a pervert.

And just for the record, female genital mutilation is equally as perverse.

A pervert then, but is he old? How do you define old? Do you mean being alive more than a certain number of years or is it relative? A ten year old pet goldfish is said to be old but not a ten year old human. This is because their ages can be compared to other specimens of their species but what about unique instances such as monotheistic dieties where such comparison is impossible?
