I don't think therapists are bullshit. I have seen about 20 of them. 18 of them were fucking useless. 2 of them have genuinely changed my life. The thing about therapy is you have to shop around for a therapist. Go to one or 2 or 5 and wait as long as you need to until you find a good one. Make sure they have at least a master's degree but preferably a PhD before seeing one. I think all the bad ones I saw just had a 4 year degree, but the 2 who had radically different styles and yet were effective was one with a decade of experience and a masters and the other one a few decades and a PHD. Life is pointless, in my opinion but only if it ends. If we can be saved by Jesus or a  singularity than maybe what we do has meaning. It is also important to assign your life meaning for your own sanity. You won't feel good unless the meaning is about serving others though. I can tell you that

I might have to inveatigate F4 more. I don't know enough history of them to conclude that they were lying or just simply mistaken. If F4 was aware of this beforehand, that would help me decide on that.

It makes sense that he would not be into twinks if he was one. Even in homosexual relationships there is a ying and a yang and in that respect opposites attract to balance each other out. 

If he was aware of that beforehand it would have helped him lie better

Anyway, I do want to apologize to bsh1. He is clearly not into twinks at all  Which I respect him more for, because of my assumptions about men who would be attracted to men who look like 12 year old boys. 

That thread is years old, man. Actually, so is that debate you linked earlier. I have no reason to believe this is all true today. People change over time, particularly as they age and mature. BSH1 is probably no exception. I don't get why we are going after this frankly. It seems like grasping at straws.

Also, this is one of the first times I've heard of the term "twink"(if I have before, I don't remember it very well), I get the impression this is derogatory and meant as an insult to gays. Is it?

Twink is not an insult. Just like the term bear is not an insult. It is just a way homosexuals classify each other to explain their tastes in men

Alright, I'm not familiar enough with gay culture, or LGBTQ culture for that matter, even though I technically fall under it.

Sorry to hear you fall under it, maybe I am sadly at an advantage here. There have been times I have frequented gay clubs because my uncle who was funding my drinking escapades got a kick out of drag shows.

I'm not gay, but technically I think I fall under "gender queer" or "agender", since masculinity and feminity don't matter to me, nor do I feel like I fit under either.
