I was using Wylted's logic and reasoning to push my lynch. We need to glue the puzzle pieces together in DP1. His reasoning seemed valid enough given my role and others roles as town, so I wen't with PressF for the lynch. He started to backtrack sayings and started to act like a Town of Salem mafia player (online game). This is a scum move. Playing off as a jester? Cmon dude. You can not be serious that you would scumread me over him

I thought we had a scum slip with F4 knowing oros character but I now believe I was mistaken. I will town read him for now, seems pretty obvious that you are town as well. Also town reading Greyparrot. Not sure what to think of Oro yet.
I would beg to differ. Oro is scum if and only if f4 is scum. The scum slip is too enormous to ignore. If he did know Oro’s character, why would he put it in code. If he was town he’d keep it hidden right?

Sorry for a somewhat late response. But jeez, 7 pages already and it's only been like 3 hours of the dp.At any rate, I've read and analyzed some of the comments, but given this is DP1, I never see merit in lynching in the first-day phase. All we can go on is people's words. I require something more concrete than that, so I'm not going to change this, and my vote is a...VTNL

That thread is years old, man. Actually, so is that debate you linked earlier. I have no reason to believe this is all true today. People change over time, particularly as they age and mature. BSH1 is probably no exception. I don't get why we are going after this frankly. It seems like grasping at straws.Also, this is one of the first times I've heard of the term "twink"(if I have before, I don't remember it very well), I get the impression this is derogatory and meant as an insult to gays. Is it?

Furthermore, I want to speak more about those scenarios. Mafia almost never ends up exactly like any of those scenarios. No smart group would continually Lynch or choose not to lynch in each DP. It's far too risky to do that. It's best to do a combination strategy that doesn't fit in either of those three scenarios you're oversimplifying Mafia to be about.
Think of it this way, if we don’t lynch this early, scum get a free kill of their choosing, likely on someone everyone townread. As a result you’re back to square one of still figuring out who to lynch.

But, it is very obvious they are acting extremely desperate to find out who is town - no town member would be that desperate to the point of trying to convince so hard, on merely DP1, that a few people are town. Note the small group Wylted has claimed to be town thus far: about the same amount of people who would be scum.
I would disagree, town should always be trying to find a block. It has two effect. One it’s a cohesive force for a lynch and two it leads to POE.
Wylted and Disc are my top townread rn and you are in leaning scum,
