Was Jeasus not being likeable predestined by God because the scriptures tell us.

Isaiah 53:3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief. Like one from whom men hide their faces, He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.

So is 'ugly' trending with Christians?

@Harikrish
You raise a very valid point. I tried to look for the word like or likeable in all 613 commandments, but didn’t find it.
Maybe it was always intended to be a one sided unrequited love. The Jews initiated it,  but were never likeable themselves.
Are Christians learning from their mistake? Don’t see people liking them much either on DebateArt.

That is not just an opinion. That advice by Harikrish to be likeable could have stopped so much suffering is not found in the Bible.  That is why the bible didn't work for  the Jews.

Jesus never taught Christians to be likeable either.
Instead Jesus taught his followers (Christians) to
1.  Matthew 10:35 For I have come to turn 'A man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. - Bible Hub

2. To hate ones life.
John 12:25 KJV: He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
Bring Harikrish back so we can all be likeable again.

Let us all be likeable. It is the one most missing commandment we can all benefit from.

Does God want us to be people pleasers?

God notices when you give of yourself to care for people, and He sees your deep desire to do what makes them happy. But making people happy is not always the loving thing you might think it is. The Bible makes it clear that you are not serving God fully if you make pleasing people your most important goal. Which simply put one cannot please God and be likeable as well.

The Quran must tell Muslims to hate their neighbour and be least likeable. Only that can explain why 60 percent of Muslim countries are at war with each other and their neighbours. The Jews were never liked throughout their history and faced antisemitism wherever they went. Nowhere in their Hebrew Bible does it tell Jews to be likeable. Christianity follows Jesus’s teaching. Even here Jesus never taught it was important to be likeable. Jesus was crucified for his oversight for not being likeable.

Why did Hitler hate the Jews. If the Jews were more likeable could it have changed the course of their history?

Hitler did not invent the hatred of Jews. He capitalised on antisemitic ideas that had been around for a long time.
Hitler was born in Austria in 1889. He developed his political ideas in Vienna, a city with a large Jewish community, where he lived from 1907 to 1913. In those days, Vienna had a mayor who was very anti-Jewish, and hatred of Jews was very common in the city.
During the First World War (1914-1918), Hitler was a soldier in the German army. At the end of the war he, and many other German soldiers like him, could not get over the defeat of the German Empire. The German army command spread the myth that the army had not lost the war on the battlefield, but because they had been betrayed. By a ‘stab in the back’, as it was called at the time. Hitler bought into the myth: Jews and communists had betrayed the country and brought a left-wing government to power that had wanted to throw in the towel.

By blaming the Jews for the defeat, Hitler created a stereotypical enemy. In the 1920s and early 1930s, the defeated country was still in a major economic crisis. According to the Nazis, expelling the Jews was the solution to the problems in Germany. This political message and the promise to make Germany economically strong again won Hitler the elections in 1932. After he had come to power, the laws and measures against the Jews increased all the time. It ended in the Shoah, the Holocaust, the murder of six million European Jews.

There are a lot of dos and don'ts in the 613 commandments. But I could not find any commandment that tells Jews to be 'likeable'. With 3000 years of persecution, expulsion and antisemitism, one would think a commandment to be 'likeable' might have help Jews overcome the burden of 613 commandments that still left them undeserving of proper recognition throughout their history.

I don't mean to be disparaging. But would adding one more commandment to be likeable to the existing 613 be so difficult?

Would adding that same commandment to be likeable have saved Jesus who was a Jew and stopped at the 613 commandments? Why didn't Jesus add the commandment to be likeable himself?

jesus was bound to the laws. He declared:

Matthew 5:17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them.

Christians are no more likeable than Jews because they too stop short of being likeable. In fact they follow even less laws than Jews having dropped circumcision and dietary restrictions.
