the block only stops you from linking the name. It means RM won't be able to flood a notification box with his links like he's done to several members. The actual ability to have discourse is unaffected.

The only thing I can think is absolute blind incompetence. To be honest with you I'm incredibly embarrassed. The obviousness and unassailability of this conclusion should have presented itself to all rational self-respecting creatures.
