All depends on the resistances of what we are facing. I think, if I recall correctly, Rangers do possess some magic in the form of magical arrows that have different effects 🤔, charming animals, etc. 

I wouldnt take my word for it tho, im not all too familiar with ranger

Does Wizards attack stat/magic run off of INT?
Yes. It increases your to-hit change with attack spells and increases the difficulty in saving against your save spells.

Also, I'm thinking of a Ranger build, tips?
For the Ranger thing. In 5e the classes are pretty well balanced. "What class is better" is a question that is invariably followed up with "Better at what?" So my question to you is: what is it you want your character to be good at? This is especially important with 5e's class archetypes. The only bad thing about Ranger I've heard is that the Beastmaster archetype really isn't that good, but the others seem swell:

Compare and Contrast:

Rangers have less and weaker spell casting, more favored toward enhancing their ability to survive in the wilderness and do damage from range. Their spellcasting is tied off of Wisdom.

Yeah, that is interesting. Knowledge might be good. Trickery might be a good choice, as your abilities can invoke "indecision" into others. (e.g. you create duplicates of yourself, which one do they attack?)

Sorry to flip like that. Answered without thinking and then reflected on my actual character concept and posted an update.
Just to be clear

Eikka of the bloodknob clan
Female half orc
Cleric of Zud the indecisive.

Skills: medicine, insight, athletics, intimidation, land vehicles, gaming (an orcish game called cups played with the hands as game tokens... most orcs aren't very bright), nature religion and perception.
Languages: common, orc, giant and primordial.

Background soldier
I was the military chaplain for an orcish army. We worked with goblins whom I expected to learn orcish and giants whose language I learned. Big difference between goblins and giants. My clan was largely wiped out by another orc tribe. I mean what's the point of it all right? If we just wipe each other out? 

So I decided what the heck I'll try to learn more about my mother's folk. My god isn't evil though he is kind of apathetic so working with humans isn't a problem so long as I go about it in singleminded determination. I'm not really evil either though I may not have human goals and beliefs.

My scale mail is rubbed black in suite mixed with grease. This keeps reflection to be minimum and prevents rust. It also stinks. I am smelly until my team mates can explain the situation to me at least.

The hand can only support 10 pounds. So if your weight plus the bar is somehow 10 pounds or less, yes.
