(After that question, I'm good. I can't remember, but recall there being 2 large mirrors on the second floor. If they say 1, one of the mirrors was put there after presumably things went south. Ergo, it's a definite trap. If 2, then it might be worth going back to check out, cause it could be something helpful at that point.

Seems likely the basement doesn't have a monster in it either. Rather, the "monster" was a guise to hide the occult rituals.

I have a sneaking suspicion based off the less than positive look of the "mother" (probably step-mother actually?) in the portrait we saw, if i recall that correctly as well that is, the death of these two may have little to do with the cult. Possibly killed by mother herself after new baby was born.)

(@drafter- can any of the above postulates be investigation checked for accuracy? Or is that not how the skill works? 😂😂)

The ability to change spell damage type seems hella useful in lore. 

Artificer stood out to me too, the potion making ability is kewl. 

3rd spell slot use: Potion of Invisibility, Potion of Superior Healing, or Potion of Water Breathing

You chose minor illusion  so maybe school of illusion? You would get a 3rd cantrip of ur choice . And make sound and images with minor illusion 😮

You just picked a couple Divination spells, that school allows you to roll 2 D20 after a long rest, and substitute them for a roll later 😮. That's cool

I'd say one of those tbh. What's ur dexterity and Intel at again?)

With that being said, once the song is done, I smile at both children.
